I was absolutely gobsmacked at this company quotation for an Aston Martin I wanted to purchase; I recently requested a quote and found the proposed terms to be significantly uncompetitive. The quote carried a 12.9% APR, resulting in a total cost of credit exceeding £20,000—over 34% of the vehicle's purchase price.

Furthermore, the agreement was structured with a balloon payment representing over 67% of the car's current value. For a decade-old asset, this strikes me as a high-risk financial strategy for the consumer, with a strong likelihood of negative equity at the end of the term. While the service was prompt, the financial product itself does not represent a sensible or competitive option for serious buyers.I will have to look elsewhere.

I dealt with Gabe - who made the whole process so easy. He was very quick to respond on emails and the phone, the credit checking process was straightforward, and he dealt seamlessly and directly with the dealer. It’s hugely refreshing having a direct contact who can answer your questions and help with the process.

JBR called me up as my car was near a track to ask me if I had track insurance. If you do not know, they install a tracker on YOUR car YOU pay for, and act like it is theirs. Avoid avoid avoid

Hi JBR,

There are several matters that require your immediate attention:

You have taken possession of the car as agreed, yet you have made no effort to confirm this with me.

You have still not released me from the associated credit agreement.

You have not issued the refund you committed to in writing.

Your continued lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. I am not prepared to keep waiting for basic responses.

Please resolve all of the above by tomorrow. If you fail to do so, I will escalate this as a formal complaint once again and proceed with a small-claims action for the outstanding refund. I will also consider advancing my concerns outlined previously regarding your conduct.

JBR have had serious financial difficulties, they've new owners and now they want you to pay the cost of past mistakes.

Ridiculous interest rates, zero customer service, intrusive tracking devices. They like to constantly remind you that they own the car not you. Horrible company from a horrible city. Car finance is in freefall thanks to rotten operators like JBR.
