We were very impressed

We were very impressed. We called JCF to report a build up of water in the entrance to our block of flats. Within an hour, Howard had attended, identified the issue as a blocked pipe and called a contractor to fix it. Howard’s quick intervention definitely averted a crisis

Very quick to respond and take action

JCF - and in particular, Debbie Ranger - provided excellent service for me when my property was in need of remedial damp course work. Debbie was responsive, helpful and managed to find a very quick solution to what could have been a lengthy problem for me. Debbie went over and above to help me - I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you!

Excellent.

Excellent.
Very prompt and friendly response to my request regarding a busted boiler.
It took 24 hours from the first contact to arrange for the engineer to inspect the damage. The decision was made almost instantly for the boiler to be replaced. These days almost unheard of.
5 stars for the service...

Needing a VERY simple answer to a VERY…

Needing a VERY simple answer to a VERY simple request - yet refusing to give it. As Managing Agents they should know everything about the property and yet have to revert to others. Completely delayed a whole sale/exchange process. Very unprofessional and very unresponsive - took 6 calls to get hold of the manager over 2 days. Cannot recommend

Absolute joke of a management company


Absolute joke of a management company.

No professionalism. No common sense. Robotic low-level AI clerks.

Pretentious wannabe directors with high titles and very little abilities and IQ.

Update 25/04/2024:

Chasing the JCF to do things they are paid to do will be deemed as harassment - a pretty convenient term for a company in a service industry providing near-to-zero service.

It is rather concerning that the simplest day-to-day queries and problems that need resolving cause JCF staff to endanger their well-being. Shocking!

The service provided was exceptional - characterized by a high level of knowledge, responsiveness, efficiency, professionalism, and impartiality. I would recommend Debbie Ranger in particular.

I have nothing but good things to say…

I have nothing but good things to say about JCF. Even though we are a relatively small development nothing is too small or too much for our property manager Chloe. Our requests are dealt with efficiently and quickly and her direct line is answered immediately.
JCF is a breath of fresh air, they are efficient, reliable, conscientious, professional and immediate - I thoroughly recommend them!

Helpful, Trustful, Professionalism

Recently I’ve rented a Studio Flat through JCF Property Management.
Let me tell you that, their properties are super clean and cosy, well maintained.

I contacted with Helen Warneryd and Douglas Olizar who super professional and helpful about everything I asked for.
Very fast response and deal with any issues straight forward without any problem.
I had some experience with other companies but so far they are the best.
Amazing people.

Debbie Ranger amazing work!

Debbie Ranger is our senior property manager and she has helped us through the complicated process of obtaining all necessary documents required for selling our property.
She was always there for us providing us with her exceptional professional expertise.
She was responding on our emails even when she was super busy or on her annual leave.
I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to express how much I appreciate Debbie’s incredible professionalism, expertise and empathy.
These qualities are incredibly precious and very rare nowadays and I feel happy that we had an opportunity to have Debbie as out property manager!

JCF Property Management a very professional company.

JCF Property have been looking after my Property for many years. I recently went with members of my family to inspect it, I am so impressed as to the condition of my Property, and I believe this to be down recently to Helen Warneryd the Property Manager looking after my Property. Helen is always so efficient and professional, combined with a cheery attitude. Nothing is too much trouble, and her advice I find very helpful.

Exorbitant fees, terrible service!

Our building management recently transitioned to this company, and our experience thus far has been quite terrible. Despite charging a substantial fee for their services, this company has proven to be severely lacking in its problem-solving capabilities. Approximately five months ago, we reported a leakage issue from the flat, and regrettably, it remains unresolved to this day. In my efforts to seek updates on the matter, I've had to reach out to them via email and phone no less than ten times. It is disconcerting that without my proactive follow-ups, it appears that no progress is made in addressing reported issues. This situation raises questions about the purpose of paying a building management fee if I must continually initiate contact to check on the status of reported problems. Ideally, they should take a proactive stance in problem resolution and keep residents informed of progress.

Another issue pertains to the initial invoice issued by this company. We were instructed by JCF to settle a balance transferred from the previous management company. However, our records indicate that no outstanding balance should exist. I brought this matter to their attention, and they assured me that they would contact the previous agent for clarification. Despite my waiting for over a month, I still have not received the promised clarification and during that period they added two late payment charges on my account! In the end, I had to make a payment without understanding the basis for the charge, and also pay late payment fees on top of that! I think this is a really appalling way to treat customers, JCF was aware that I was awaiting clarification on the balance, the imposition of two late payment fees seems unjust and unwarranted.

Lastly, due to the inadequate service I received from this company I had to make multiple complaints which went unanswered until I emailed the company directors. Even then, the response I received was thoroughly unsatisfactory. I am genuinely astonished by the unprofessionalism and incompetence displayed by this company, as they have created so much stress and hassle for me.

With regards to these types of leaks, we unfortunately do not have the authority to intervene between two private property owners in any significant way (as was the case here with small leaks from the private property above yours). That said, we did repeatedly try to encourage a resolution, but fundamentally this situation could only be resolved between the two property owners directly.

In regards to the balance, this figure was supplied to us by the outgoing managing agent. After many weeks of chasing the previous managing agent, they have now supplied us with new and corrected financial data that we can work from. It is frustrating that the data provided to us was not accurate; in the first instance when taking over the management of a property we can only work from financial data we are given, which should be reliable and without error.

The Managing Director of JCF has conducted a full investigation into your situation and provided a detailed response addressing all of your points, which hopefully you received a couple of weeks ago.
