I bought a car last Jan and check
Engine light came one as soon as I drove it home it has been nothing but a hassle and they tell me they can’t do anything but I have to pay to fix the crap it’s a pos they shouldn’t be able to sell cars! It has been nothing but one thing after another breaking costing me a money pit! This is bull crap. I’ve had it less than a year and replaced so much crap for it to still need work and still not work correctly! I have a baby coming I shouldn’t have to worry about fixing a piece of crap time and time again! I will never buy from here I want out of the contract but don’t know how!

I would review with a zero if it were…

I would review with a zero if it were possible. I've got a 2011 Jeep Liberty which I purchased December 30th, 2021. It ran good for maybe eight months (I'm guestimating). Then it started giving me problems. First off, the gas cap indicator kept coming on whenever I started it. The service department stated just replacing the gas cap would fix the problem. Replaced it twice...nothing changed. The sun roof leaked, and once again the service department stated that the drain holes for the sunroof were clogged and they had cleaned them out so no more problem...WRONG !!!!
Sunroof still leaks, and I've even told the service department I have seen where it is leaking, but they will not listen to me, because I don't know what I'm talking about. Next the clock spring went bad. Now this piece controls the airbag system in the vehicle, and when I took it in to have it looked at, I was informed by the service department that it was not covered under the warranty, and would cost me around $800 to have fixed... SERIOUSLY!!! And now the vehicle is sitting at a garage and has not been driven since November 2022 because it is misfiring, and may have to have the engine redone. AND I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE VEHICLE A YEAR BEFORE THE PROBLEMS STARTED. And here I am with nothing to drive, but yet I'm making payments on something I don't have. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST.
This is the Byrider located in Parkersburg West Virginia.

Very sad experience overall

Very sad experience overall! I hope they get the carma they deserve. Terrible cars; overpriced. What the other buyers said about the cars is very true. They sell you these cars knowing that they are half put together. I will just pray and continue on, fix what I can afford... and when it all comes crashing down... I guess I'll just have to feel the burn. This makes me suicidal knowing that I can't do anything about this. I wish the BBB would help, but seems no one cares.

I bought car at the end of April, 22
-Needed tires of the rip
-Alignment
-AC didn't work properly,
-- Now it's just blowing hot air(not
covered under warranty)
-Car would go in all directions when braking ( it did that from the time I purchased it. Three oil changes later, they decided to fix that particular issue, with deductible). I thought it was the alignment issue.
- Making a few unknown sounds now( I hope it just needs a tune-up
- Needs struts
-Window sensor issue
-just a forever growing list.

God bless you if you get fall into the sunken place and decide to purchase a 5-7 year of misery plan.

Not worth it

Test drove car in town only about 40mph. Drove home, called and reported car not running right. Car in shop next day, replaced parts, still not running correctly. They ordered more parts. Car is not dependable. Afraid to drive out of town, may break down and have to tow. Still waiting on parts. I requested to get another vehicle. Not an option. Only been a week of purchase. They are using the 24,000 warranty to justify unreliable vehicles that you should not have to use the next day of purchase on a $14,000 vehicle. I do not recommend. Scammers

Forced Warranty

I've had two cars with JD Byrider. I opted to keep the first car for my daughter and get a new one. Experiences for both cars have been good, except when I got the first one inspected for the last time, it cost about $1200, which I paid. Was happy for my daughter to have a vehicle! In about two weeks, something went wrong and another repair was required for $4000! I refused to get it fixed, of course, and I left it at their shop because I had no other recourse. When I tried to contact them about it, they had no info for me, but instead put it into collections after like two years. With my new vehicle I purchased from them, they required that I add a warranty to the purchase of somewhere in the vicinity of $3500, so now I am unable to trade it in because I owe that warranty on my account. Are they allowed to add a warranty in order to purchase the vehicle it? All of my payments were paid on time since 2018.

So Much stuff to say about them

So Much stuff to say about them. First they make you do a review before you do anything 👎🏾 I got a car from them only going to be 3 months & already 3 times I took it in because something is wrong with the car and all they tell me is my warranty doesn't cover it 😡 so what does? I have a leaking roof & no it doesn't have a sunroof on it! I asked what can we do because I understand it's a used car but a leaky roof come on they said $130 no way I'm paying that I haven't had the car for not even 3 months yet. I said I've been nice and working with them but so soon with issues that I feel they should've known before selling it. I even asked can we do an even exchange of another car that's the same amount never answered me smh. I will be getting a lawyer if they can't fix this and try to get out this contract because my credit score means everything to me. They only in it for the money. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

They lied& told me before I arrive that I was approved for 1k.Then once it was time for me to sign contract they switched up.& said $2200. This vehicle is over 15 yes old. I agreed because I need a car & was desperate. They make money off of ppl bad credit burden. They don't accept partial payment or grace period. So I am stuck paying $600 a 15 yes old truck that have mechanic problems every wk.They keep calling & harassing my references Save ur money & stress

I’ve been with this company 3 years…

I’ve been with this company 3 years never missed a payment. I went in today even though I wanted a quote before I came in so that I wouldn’t waste my time but no… Go with a trade-in same vehicle I brought 3 years ago only to be told before my trade in was ever accessed that my total monthly payment would be $600 for a 2016 Honda CR-V (miles unknown because we didn’t get that far… predator leanding at its best. If you have other options please utilize them. You can definitely get a newer car for the same amount.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Don't fall for the fake reviews on their site. Everyone gets financed at a non-negotiable 19.9% interest rate regardless of credit. Yet they do a hard pull on your credit report anyway. And this is all BEFORE they even let you test-drive a car. They prey on people with bad credit and the cars they sell are roughly 7-10 years old with a ton of mileage, which you will see for yourself on their website. Don't settle for this if you have bad credit. There are many traditional dealerships who will work with you.

When I bought my car

When I bought my car, they were fantastic, friendly, and very helpful.. love that it comes with the warranty, where other places wouldn’t. My issue to make it lower is the service area, a lot of times you won’t get answers unless your physically there, and they don’t like to give answers about timelines or anything for the repairs. But after having a car for a week, and still no repair, they did get me a loaner even though that is not something they do. So thankful for Leo and his help today.

I recently bought a car here and noticed a problem, I called and they got me in the next day, diagnosed the problem and scheduled for me to drop it off. One part wasn’t covered under the warranty, but they covered it! When I went to pick it up (same day) they changed my $0 !! Fantastic customer service!!! Thank you guys seriously!!! Faith in humanity restored!!!
