Really like the gym I just wish there were better parking facilities and more classes on a weekend.

Class instructors are fab as too are…
Class instructors are fab as too are classes. Female changing rooms are always drab and grubby, badly in need of upgrade. Floor in studio always dirty.

Good equipment
Good equipment. The demand for the equipment for inner thighs is high so more of this is required. Brighter settings are better for me. I didn't quite like the lighting

First time going JD gym and didn't even had first months discount (( very big mess in gym, equipment all over, nobody cares to put things back in place. Some machines are one a peace and people piled to do exercises.

Good saunas but sometimes when I want…
Good saunas but sometimes when I want to use it they are switch off. A lot of kids messing about and there is nobody to tell them off. Maybe more staff should approach people about putting the weights back after using.

Good variety of equipment
Good variety of equipment in good condition and kept clean.
My only criticism at this point is unfortunately the mens toilets have been out of action for 2 days now which isn't ideal.

Regarding age requirements, all members must meet the minimum age to use the gym. If there is any doubt, the team are able to request valid ID to verify age.

I like the environment of the gym as…
I like the environment of the gym as it’s well equipped and neat but the only thing am dissatisfied with is Trainer, which as a new member of the gym I can’t find the trainer assigned to me which this is really not helping me.

Great first day back at the gym!
The gym is great! I’m getting back into it so was nervous to go but it was absolutely fine. Lots of machines, rooms for classes and different things. There was a lovely PT there called Hayleah who I spoke to about PT sessions and she gave good advice about looking at all the PT’s on the board, looking at their socials etc to get a feel of who I think I’d be more suited to for my goals. She was very friendly and approachable!
The only negative for me was that the showers in the female changing rooms smelt of urine.

Weights machine refurb desperately needed
It’s a big gym with a decent variety of equipment I do think the weights machines by the cardio equipment are desperate either to be serviced or replaced missing hand grips pads etc some not operating smoothly
