We sent $1266 upfront (mistake) to this person Jeelene Benitez in the Philippines by OFX on the 15th of August. This was supposed to be for a full month's work. We were warned by someone in Australia not to use her and on investigation saw that a lot of what she said was fabricated and didn't add up. She has done ZERO work for us. We asked her immediately for a refund and she then said she hadn't received the funds as it had gone into the wrong account number even though she wrote the number down TWICE and pushed so hard for money there was no way she would have given the incorrect one. Plus we had proof of payment into the account number she provided by OFX. She then said we would need to fly to the Philippines and take legal action if we hoped to get these funds back. Later she said she would email the bank to get them to sort it out and then we heard nothing. We have not recovered any money. We want to save other people from becoming victims of this arrogant person who thinks she can steal money from businesses and people. Her attitude is very brazen when asked how she could continue to get money after ripping people off she sent through a screenshot of someone who had allegedly just paid her an amount of $860.10. OFX has also tried to recall the money but obviously, the money has gone. This is the first time that anything like this has happened to us and it has been a very bad experience
