Impressed with the personal service provided starting with understanding our needs and wants, opening properties after hours when previous hours were not suitable. When we finally placed our offer it was handled promptly and with minimal fuss.
We have since bought and the rental division has done a great job finding a tenant even before settlement.

We are very happy with the way Jellis Craig maintained momentum after disastrous start with a change of agent, Kieran picked up the sale and was excellent in his advise throughout the selling process. Great job Kieran.

the Ivanhoe Jellis Craig branch & James Goulopoulos, who I dealt with primarily were fantastic. Very easy to deal with, did push things along yet the job of selling the property was finished way before I expected. I was actually surprised, considering the Pandemic we’re in & the property did need work.
What I really liked is that the staff listened to me , re. my circumstances, & worked around that.
Having no experience with buying or selling property before, it was very reassuring.
If I was rich....🤑, or a property investor, I’d be dealing with the Ivanhoe Jellis Craig branch all the time. It was a comfortable experience.

This year has clearly been a difficult one for every person, in every line of work. Unfortunately, our experience with Jellis Craig was soured from early on, not so much by COVID, but by our agent James Goulopoulos, refusing to address any of our concerns regarding our campaign. There were promises-a-plenty and endless apologies, but no actions put in place. In fact, he was extremely patronizing and condescending toward us when he actually did manage to communicate with us.

At signing of contract, we explicitly asked for and were promised clear and concise communications from our agent with regular updates. We didn’t see a “weekly” report until some months into the campaign.

The exclusivity period which we (naively and stupidly) signed up to, was of an obscene length of time. It’s hard to see this not being a contributor to the almost absent enthusiasm displayed by our agent.

Of course, as Covid took a grip, things deteriorated dramatically- obviously out of anyone’s control.

At this point, we expressed our disappointment and inability to continue with James. Kieran Whaley took over the marketing of the property, making immediate changes to the campaign in consultation with us, answering questions honestly and addressing our needs. Shortly after early easing of restrictions we were able to finalize a sale of the property.

We’ll never know if we “missed the boat” in getting the best possible price for our property. Unfortunately, we feel it wasn’t given the best possible chance from early on.
We are grateful for Kieran’s efforts in getting the job done in unprecedented circumstances and thank him.

Unfortunately, due to our initial experience, I don’t know that I could ever recommend Jellis Craig as a selling agency in the future.

I have been extremely happy with the service. James was friendly, helpful and respectful. He demonstrated very good communication and interpersonal skills.
