I ordered a lamp from Jensenbutik.dk
I ordered a lamp from Jensenbutik.dk, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.
When we had the lamp professionally installed by a certified electrician, it caused a short circuit in our apartment. The electrician discovered the lamp was wired with aluminum, which is not compliant with standard safety regulations and was not disclosed anywhere in the product description.
I contacted the company immediately, expecting a full refund. Instead, they:
Offered only a partial refund or store credit
Told me to return the item at my own cost to China even though the lamp was shipped from Sweden
Sent me a Google Drive link to download the return form, which felt completely unprofessional and insecure
Their website proudly advertises a “30-day money-back guarantee” but in practice, it seems meaningless. They refuse to take responsibility for selling a dangerous and faulty product, and their refund process feels deliberately difficult and misleading.
I’ve since reported the case to the Danish Consumer Ombudsman and e-mærket, and I’ve initiated a chargeback through my bank.
I’m sharing this review to warn others if something goes wrong with your order from Jensenbutik.dk, you may be completely on your own.
