Having Jericho Writers in my life is like having an experienced friend who has been through it and gives you a constructive and supportive take on any niggles or queries.
I recently had a manuscript assessment and it has proved so helpful. It came back well within the time limit and was detailed. I really felt the editor had taken time. It was inspiring as well as critical, but in a professional, positive way.
In the short time I have been a member, I have also joined a few webinars and found them very useful. There are so many parts to Jericho Writers, I would definitely recommend!

Another excellent Festival of Writing with tons of added value. Made new friends and met up with existing ones I’ve been students with on the great courses. Becca and Sophie did another amazing job. It was seamless. Highlights for me - on top of the event itself - was the queen of psychic distance and self-edit - BRILLIANT Debi Alper. Plus a 121 with the FABULOUS author Zoe Richards which was personal, inspirational and highly recommended. First class all round. Thank you everyone involved.

Currently at the London Festival Of Writing 2025! My first time at the event and absolutely LOVE it. The panels are fantastic and everyone is looking to connect and share. One-to-one sessions were extremely helpful and excited for the next event.

Attended the London Festival of Writing 2025. Such a well organised event that flowed seamlessly. They offered a wealth of information.

Jericho writers' and the Jericho Festival of Writing is just a wonderful place to improve your writing. Whether you have a vague idea, a finished first draft, or ready to send it out to editors, there's courses for anyone at any time in your writing career. The community is the best, everyone knows how scary it can be to share your work, and everyone there is happy to help you have the best time.

Easily the best membership I've had for a writing organisation. I have done a number of their free sessions (with paid membership), and recently completed their paid Self-Edit course which transformed my writing. On top of that they are generous, kind, inclusive, and just fun to be around. Highly recommend.

Attended the London Festival of Writing for the first time and found it very well thought-out: engaging speakers and topics, plenty of opportunities for mingling or downtime, and very interesting people in attendance!

Jericho offer comprehensive and caring support for aspiring writers through their wide-ranging and engaging resources and staff who are ever ready to provide advice and encouragement. The recent courses on self-editing and creative non-fiction have shaped my current work for the better and Harry's weekly letters give apt insight into all aspects of writing and publishing.

Imogen is the greatest! She helped enable me to focus on the track I should take with my novel: initially, I was planning a narrative nonfiction work, but I shall save bits and pieces and use for an autobiography for later. Looking forward to taking the self-editing course in September AND MOST OF ALL signing on to be a member very shortly—of Jericho Writers!

I submitted my second novel to Jericho for a detailed manuscript assessment. The resulting report clarified a clear opportunity for me to centre the book as a political thriller. Of course I also got some challenging feedback on the work itself but has given me the impetus to reshape the novel and publish this year. Thanks Rufus and Jericho.
PS the ongoing support via membership is fantastic and well worth the cost.

I have been a member of Jericho for five years now and it is still the best writing membership I have.
The breadth of videos and mini series that are included in the subscription is vast and the team are always willing to talk if you have a specific issue.
Without Jericho it would not have been possible for me to find the confidence to self publish my debut romance novel Gone Fishing. Their self edit course run by Debi Alper is a wonderfully focused course for kick starting you into gear!

I never planned to write a book, or join Jericho Writers, and now I've done both.
The book came first - well, the draft did. And then, browsing at all the wonderful free resources on Jericho, I realised I was at the very start of my writing journey.
However, Jericho has been a wonderful help to a writing ingenue like me - I started off light with free and highly informative webinars (thanks Becca and Harry). But I knew I needed to move on, and have progressed to Premium membership.
I'm delighted beyond words (of course, it has to be words), with everything available to me for a very small monthly/annual fee. I'm working my way through the self-paced video courses and currently am Self-Editing my novel with Debi Alper and going back to writing building blocks with Harry's 22 part Writing Foundations course.
The tutors, the source materials, the overall slickness and presentation is nothing short of wonderful. I'm one happy woman.

A genuine community of writers, sound commercially-focused advice from people with serious experience in the business, and an all-round friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The world of writing (and especially, literary agents) can be intimidating at times, and Jericho is a place that made me feel 'yes, I can do this'. I wouldn't quite say I've 'done it' yet, but I have two novels completed and one short story published, and I don't think that would have happened without them.
Like others have said - I can't imagine writing without Jericho.
