Could not attend due to illness and had emailed but they refused to refund even though the group went anyway - so had to pay ~£35 to not go even though the others did. I suggested that i go another day but they simply said no its fully booked- the customer service takes days to respond and when they do they say its too late even though they took days to respond. The party that went said it wasn't worth the money anyway. Terrible!

Went this afternoon for the unlimited cheese Raclette. Had such a lovely time. The cheese man was lovely & Chelsea was so attentive.

Ate sooo much cheese and doughnuts and now headed home for a food coma.

Will absolutely go back!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. As others have said, the setting is nothing special - not cosy or atmospheric at all. The food is terrible - very basic indeed. One small plate of cold meats for 2, a bowl of dry, stale bread, a bowl of salad leaves and a bowl of new potatoes. And you’re supposed to get excited about going up to get a lump of melted cheese on this underwhelming plate of food. The only thing that requires cooking is the potatoes, the rest of it is taken straight from a packet. A licence to print money!!! Not worth £35 in the slightest.

A wonderful evening…

We spent an evening here enjoying the tasting menu, it was a real experience of an evening, the food was exquisite each course was beautifully presented and Elina cooked part of each course on the big green egg at the table, Elina was fab company telling us about where the food came from, all the food is locally sourced. We were very sated at the end and not uncomfortable, thanks to Heidi’s creative menu. Heidi and Tom Head/sous chef took the time to come out and say Hello and ensure we were all happy. Could not rate it highly enough for the setting, think riverside, twinkly lights, delicious food and the wonderful staff.
Thank you team
Kirsty

Not an experience I will repeat

We were looking forward to this cozy eating experience, however, it is NOT what is advertised
If you want to spend £35 to sat at long benches freezing cold on public view, not receive what is advertised, still be hungry, feel like you're putting staff out, watvoff broken crockery and smell like you have just been to a bonfire ..then this is the place for you!! Staff were apologetic for not having MANY items in stock (drinks, food and no choc sauce for smores) the broken BBQ with no lid so therfore produced no heat and we smelled of a bonfire for the remainder of the day, not restocking the unlimited sides. We were apologising to other customers for wading through narrow gap on our way to the cheese bar apologising to staff for interupting their conversations and texting, when arriving back at table it was cold. Contacted venue organiser; Tom Howe offered to call me back but still waiting....three weeks later!! Don't waste your money!!

We were expecting a festive luxury…

We were expecting a festive luxury chalet style treat, it was more fast food and crowded. I had pictured our grup being gathered around a cosy fire pit but we were sat at benches along a long table with other diners. The food was ok, the drinks too sweet. The smores were not all you can eat and they wouldn't provide any extra marshmallows for toasting, which surely don't cost much at all. Not worth £35 per head. The music was too loud and really inappropriately sweary. I guess it would be ok to walk by and pop in to but as the birthday treat it was planned for it didn't really meet expectations.

Fire and fromage

Just did the Fire and Fromage event in south bank. The setting is a little disappointing - one long table protected by plastic sheetings to stay dry - several hot coal ovens inserted inside the table for the s’mores. You get a salad, a basket of bread and 2 small plates of cold cuts. The cheese and potato is all you can eat but you have to get up and fetch it from the cheese station. By the time you return to your table, the cheese is cold. You have a choice of two drinks and the mulled wine is ridiculously sugary. The much-advertised fire pits are away from the table, so you don’t get much heat from that. All in all an okay experience, but certainly not the bougee, atmospheric experience touted on social media. The staff is very hard working because the turn over is quick. By the time we were (nicely) asked to leave after our exact 90mn window, there were queues waiting for the next sitting.

Jimmy's Pop Up - Fire & Fromage (Not worth it)

Found this Fire & Fromage from Jimmy's pop up London, the pop up is located on South Bank, so we booked it for our daughter's birthday, got there, the setting was good, we were given a bowl of salad, a bowl of bread and a plate of ham & salami, then we were told to get the cheese from the counter, that's where the problem started, the lady behind the counter grilling the cheese was extremely pathetic about how much cheese one could have, the cheese wasn't enough to cover 4 small new potatoes and the look on her face when you asked if you could have more cheese... First we thought it was us, then when the next table (also a family of 3) complained about how little cheese they were getting and the parents were extremely annoyed, I know this is the one for the review. NOT worth it. Never again.

Impossible to get a beer

Impossible to get a beer. No sense at all. Takes hours and hours to order a beer online and wait to be delivered on your table. Just simple, give me a beer and charge me. To much time waisting and a bit rude staff as well. Not really recommended

These guys are top notch

These guys are top notch. Food is excellent and the customer service is out there. I messed up my timings and Jamie went out of her way to sort it for me. Will definitely be back (more than once) next year. Thanks guys.
