I had an extremely frustrating experience with JJ Best Banc and would not recommend them.
The entire process was a complete waste of my time. Communication was slow, unclear, and very disorganized from the start. I was repeatedly asked for information that had already been provided, and it felt like there was no real coordination behind the scenes.
The loan officer I dealt with, Matthew Smith, came across as completely unprepared and inexperienced. It honestly felt like I was dealing with someone on their first day rather than a professional lender handling a serious financing request. That made an already frustrating process even worse.
If you are looking for financing, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere and saving yourself the stress and wasted time. This was one of the most frustrating lending experiences I’ve had. 🚫

Loans for used boats can sometimes process more slowly than we would like and we regret that. We take your comments seriously and investigated our handling of the application. When you are considering several vessels and when the potential loan requires our use of a banking partner for underwriting, there can be errors and/or constraints on our response times. We did find however that our loan officer worked with you during off-hours on multiple occasions to bridge any delays. Thank you sincerely for your feedback.
