What exactly do you mean by "check your email for further information"?
I have repeatedly stated that I ordered the standard Size 4, and I have the email records to prove it. Is "check the information" your only response to that?
The core issue here—which you are completely ignoring—is that I explicitly ordered a standard Size 4, yet you took it upon yourself to change it to a custom-made order based on the measurements I provided only for reference. I have even attached the past emails where I clearly stated twice: "I will order Size 4."
Despite this, you continue to claim that because it was "custom-made," you will only offer a 30% refund. You changed my order to full custom without my consent, and as a result, I received a garment so small it would only fit a child 2 or 3 years younger. It was completely unwearable for the graduation ceremony, causing me immense loss and distress.
Do you really believe you can escape responsibility for this disaster with a mere 30% refund?
The point of contention is your unauthorized change of my order and the resulting incorrect sizing. I am waiting for a sincere response that addresses these specific points, not another generic template reply.

I ordered 6 dresses to try on, but only 2 dresses showed up at my house. JJ's House is not willing to refund the money that I paid to try on these dresses, even though I purchased additional insurance on the shipping. They insist they sent all 6 dresses... but I can't see how it would be possible for someone to steal 4 dresses. My best guess is that they sent my order to another buyer, and I received their (similar but much smaller) order. It is really frustrating to feel so cheated while also feeling that the company suspects ME of cheating them. The dresses I did receive were nice, although I didn't like either enough to buy. I did make another order (not received yet) before I realized they were not sending nor refunding the first.

3rd edit: After ignoring me for days. I finally warned them I was going to trading standards. They then replied and offered me a full refund. I have posted the return and they have assured me I will get a full refund. I can only hope
2nd Edit: JJ’ house replied to me yesterday offering me a 30% refund. I refused, as their terms and conditions state a full refund will be provided if manufacturers faults.
They then offered me a 50% refund. I again refused. They have now stopped replying.
I would warn everyone not to use this company. Their products are poor quality and their customer service is also extremely poor.
They do not follow their own terms and conditions.
Edit to reply: the measurements are not correct. Also you are ignoring me about the fact the dress is faulty. It has threads hanging causing the dress to fray and gather at the hem. I request a full refund as the item is not wearable.
Dress received for my daughter’s prom. The dress is faulty with hanging threads. Causing the hem to fray.
This was a custom size made dress. The measurements are not correct to what I ordered, the hips and waist is bigger. Making the dress unwearable as it slides down. I have sent a message to the company asking for a full refund. If they deal with my complaint promptly and I receive a full refund I will edit my review. ATM I am very disappointed. The dress cost £200

very very poor quality.. I ordered a wedding dress (was not expensive but the material was very cheap and smells bad) when I check the return process showed me they deduct almost £20 just to return the dress... very disappointed do not recommend it!!

I am beyond impressed with the quality of the dresses I have ordered from JJ's. These dresses are well made and absolutely GORGEOUS!! Each dress is a work of art and SO comfortable. I am SO grateful that I discovered JJ's. You can’t find such quality at a better price!! JJ’s will always be my go-to for special occasion dresses.

The dresses are more narrow than they seem but what upset me was they claim you can try the dresses on before you buy them, or return them for a full refund within 14 days. This is false. They charge $20.00 for trying on and or returning within the 14 days. There’s nobody to talk to and no customer support. They are in Taiwan.

The dress was very well made and fit perfectly. Definitely true to size.

It takes forever to deliver. When it does, the box arrives damaged and missing a content. Customer service called me a lier because shipping company did not report a damage to the parcel.

Really pleased with my order. Ordered for my 11 year old daughters prom. Used the custom sizing option and I can confirm the dress fits her like a glove. Lovely material and well made. I was really impressed.

Make sure you're keeping the item before ordering or you'll be out of pocket.
I paid for "white" shoes for my daughter, when they came they were dark ivory and completely unsuitable. When I returned them I received a refund for less than 70% of what I paid - not impressed.
I then image searched the shoes I bought to see if I could get white in them and they came up on Shein for a third of the price!!
Would definitely not recommend anyone to use this website!

My daughter came across this site whilst looking for bridesmaid dresses for her wedding.
As no heard of this company was a bit dubious, but on ordering a couple of bridesmaid dresses was surprised with the quality of the fabric & weight of the dresses'. The one was a maternity dress that we had to have adjusted by a seamstress & they found it no issue to adjust.
We also ordered 2 made to measure bridesmaid's dresses' & was very pleased that they fitted perfectly - even after measuring a few times & even after allowing a bit for growth as we ordered them a few months before the big day.
The only disappointment was the mother of the brides dresses we ordered - measured a number of times before picking the size that matched the measurements, only to find they were way too big :(
However, we returned these for a refund, & received the majority of the outlay back as there was a handling charge to pay.
overall, very pleased with the bridesmaids dresses' & the made to measure ones.

After reading similar reviews, I am going to state facts before the company replies with anything that may be untrue.
I ordered two dresses on 12/03 - both in stock. It was not shipped until 29/03 (over two weeks later) and marked as delivered on 07/04 - nearly a month after ordering.
After seeing the delivered status and image of the delivered package, I checked and it was not there. I checked with neighbours and it was no where to be found. The parcel was left in an unsafe location (a broken bin in the front garden as per delivery image) and was not delivered into my possession. For an order exceeding £300, I would have expected a secure delivery method such as a signed-for service.
I had contacted them via their website explaining all of this on 09/04 (as their policy states to wait 48hrs incase the order arrives).
The responses I received were unhelpful, inconsistent and contradictory.
I was initially asked whether a neighbour or relative had accepted the parcel, despite there being no signature required and no relatives to have done so. I explained this to them and explained again, that I already checked with neighbours. They responded stating they are keeping in touch with the delivery company and "highly advised" to contact them to expedite the resolution of my issue.
I emailed back and explained that the package was left in an unsafe location as per the image, and I asked why this package was not sent "signed for" to be safely delivered into my possession. I also stated that as they are the seller, it is their responsibility to contact the courier to resolve this and raise any necessary claims, especially as I paid extra for shipping protection.
They then stated that I must contact Royal Mail and request a "statement of proof of lost" with them, which was already the first contradiction to their initial email. I was confused why responsibility was being shifted onto me.
I explained that this is the seller’s responsibility. As the sender, they hold the contract with the courier and are responsible for raising any investigation or claim. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods remain the seller’s responsibility until delivered into the customer’s possession. And how dissatisfied I was with the customer service and the fact I had not received an apology for this issue considering my event is coming up and I am now without a dress.
Despite this, they used the excuse that it is a practical limitation for them to contact the courier and continued to insist that I obtain confirmation from Royal Mail before they would take action. This contradicts both consumer law and their own shipping protection policy, which states they will reship items if they are lost or not received
They said that in order for them to process a full refund or file a claim on my behalf, they are required to obtain an official loss confirmation. Yet another contradiction as the entire email thread was confirmation that my package is lost as I had not received it. They said they needed a response from Royal Mail as evidence, which is exactly what the company should be liasing with the courier to obtain?
I then had to explain to them, that they hold the contract with Royal Mail and therefore have full authority to contact them directly to raise an investigation claim, and that I had given them all necessary information they needed to do so.
They yet again attempted to shift responsibility back to me by saying: "as we mentioned previously, we have not received any documentation from you regarding the situation with Royal Mail—whether that be a formal loss confirmation, investigation results, or even an email acknowledging the issue. Without this information, we are uncertain whether the shipping company will proceed with an investigation." which is clearly AI writing, and contradictory to the entire email chain as I had repeatedly explained my issue and the fact that they should be contacting Royal Mail for this required information they need.
They then said they would handle it and to contact them if I don't hear back by 22nd April. I message them 24th April to then be told that I must contact Royal Mail.
At no point was a resolution proactively offered. The shipping protection was not honoured. Instead, responsibility was repeatedly shifted onto me, requiring unnecessary time and effort to pursue something that should be handled by the seller.
As a result, I have had to escalate the matter through my payment provider.
Very disappointing experience, particularly given the value of the order and the lack of accountability in resolving a missing parcel.
