GetFit StayFit Coaching and Support Has Changed My Life
As a mother and a nurse I have become proficient at taking care of others. As a woman in my mid fifties, working insane hours, eating what was convenient, not exercising, and sleeping at most 4 hours per day, I was neglecting myself. I didn't like how I looked, but more importantly, I didn't like how I felt about myself. My overall outlook was negative. I had tried dozens of weight loss programs in the past, all with results that lasted a few years, then the weight crept back on. The restrictions of Covid and then breaking my ankle mid July rendering me unable to work, gave me time to sit back and look at my life. I was on Facebook and noticed an ad for GetFit StayFit Coaching and Support. During the course of the day I milled over the pros and cons and decided to get more information. From initial contact via Zoom, I was struck by Jodi's energy and positivity which are qualities I wanted for myself. Her coaching focuses on a healthy lifestyle, not just a healthy diet. I have learned to make nutritious meal choices with real, not packaged foods. I am exercising again. I have consistently lost weight. The most important segment of Jodi's coaching focuses on resetting your thoughts and beliefs, which in turn shapes your habits and actions towards goals you set for yourself. Jodi has been a mentor, providing me with the tools I need to control my thoughts, filtering out the negative and working toward the positive. I use these tools not only for weight loss but for all areas of my life. This has made a big difference for me.
