Amazing staff. All my questions were answered quickly and professionally. I enquired about one property but was offered a few different ones. They helped me find my next home and would highly recommend John Bray and Sons to friends and family.

Looking for a rental in Hastings and booked one of their more expensive ones. They should have been aware I was driving 70 miles to visit. The night before I was looking for the details (which hadn’t been sent) and not on their website anywhere. Upon further enquiry - and note the reply was sent 2 hours AFTER the arranged appointment to view - I was informed a let was agreed

So this agent was willing to let me drive 70 Miles and 70
Miles back because too unprofessional to advise the property had been let. Or maybe it had been let previously and they thought they’d operate some kind of bidding war who knows.

Either way unprofessional and wouldn’t dream of using them. Landlords and vendors beware !!

Yet another Agent enabling homelessness because of their innate discrimination.
No matter you have excellent Landlord refs for DECADES.
No matter you have NO debt.
No matter you have excellent credit rating.
No matter you had an accident and now can't work (it'll never happen to an estate agent.)
No matter you have no support network and will end up homeless if you aren't able to view properties.

Ignorant, power hungry - this woman has ALL necessary details and still refuses to allow viewing for a property that has been on the lettings market for MONTHS!! **Landlords beware - they are losing you regular income**

These enablers need to be STOPPED and I WILL report you to Trading Standards / the Ombudsman if I can cope with the further stress!

I can’t seem to leave zero stars so I will leave one. These agents are terrible.  This agency is awful. They discriminate against disabled people, and they harass disabled people when the disabled people don’t agree to the angency’s  *illegal* demands. (They demanded proof of my disability and proof that my dog was a trained certified service dog, none of which they are allowed to even request. It is against the law to request this.) When I didn’t do what they wanted they filed a false police charge against me and had the police investigate me for that charge. The police agreed the charge was false, but they had to investigate because that is the law. They apologize for doing so and they said that they thought I had a case for harassment because this was clearly a false charge.  When ants appeared in my kitchen, and I took a video for their edification, they wrote to me to say that the ants must be because of an onion peel that was visible in the video. The onion peel had only been there for a short time because I had cooked dinner with onions in it, and then I had fallen asleep for hours on the sofa afterwards, only to awaken to a swarm of ants. But apparently I am not clean enough in my kitchen and that is why I have ants according to John Bray and sons. They are hateful, awful people and if I were you, I would steer well clear. Rent or buy through someone else.

I can't help but feel a huge sense of unease how this firm have handled a recent sale.

Absolutely stellar service. Sold my flat through John Bray and they were amazing. Can't fault any of the team member. Totally professional, transparent, supportive. Push through a sale that due to bad buyer solicitor I gave up on and made it happen. Very honest, fought my corner. Particularly grateful to Will, Kate and Phoebe but really all the team. Extremely grateful, well done guys. Very glad I chose you
