The experience of purchasing a new hall floor from John Doe's was excellent from start to finish. On the day of the fitting our carpenter Jack arrived promptly in the morning. He was courteous, hard working and cleaned everything as he went along .He is obviously a very competent carpenter as the floor looks amazing and has transformed the look of the hall. I would certainly purchase from this company again.

Simon and Scott provided a swift and friendly delivery. Checked where furniture was going before unpackaging on delivery of vehicle so no messy packing bits in house. Coped with my very low level stairwell with no banging of heads

Good communication

The helpfulness of the staff at the store and the amazing floor and carpet fitters. We had just moved into a new build bungalow and only had pitch floors. The store staff were very helpful and pushed through our order as quickly as they were able. The fitters came on various days as we were fitted in when they were able. We still had boxes that needed to be unpacked and were just about everywhere. We were also unwell with very bad colds but these guys were beyond helpful, they moved furniture and boxes to enable them to work, my husband has respiratory problems and couldn't help but these guys just got on with the job. I just want to give a massive shout out to Kyle and George who laid the flooring and then Kev, Stuart, Louis, Charlie and Billy who between them fitted the carpet throughout our bungalow. We can't thank them enough for their cheerful attitudes, courtesy, professionalism and friendliness while they were with us. Their work was perfect and we are more than satisfied. Thank you guys.

Great service from Simon and Scott today. Called beforehand and gave very accurate timings. They arrived and had to take the furniture up a lot of steps. They couldn't have been more helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Had my sofas delivered today by Scott & Simon, great service as I only popped into store yesterday to arrange delivery! They were very friendly and respectful of my property, removed their shoes and were quick and efficient, even pointing out the fact the furniture had USB ports which we weren't aware of. Great team

John Doe had a huge choice of chairs, so it could have been difficult to know which one was right. But the sales team were extremely helpful, talked us through the options, and took their time to explain the differences between the various models. Thank you!

We have just seen our new floor which was fitted by Jack while we were away. We are delighted. He has done a great job, screeding, fitting the floor and shaving all the doors. Everything was left very tidy. Our only query is that there was not a single plank or even scrap of wood over. Is that correct? Was every single piece used with no leftovers?

We recently had our whole house carpeted and couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish. 😊

We mainly dealt with Simon in the flooring department, who was absolutely fantastic (as was Sam!). I struggle quite badly with OCD, so organising the carpets was a particularly stressful process for me, but I honestly couldn’t have been treated with more kindness, patience and understanding. Simon went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly while taking my worries into account.

The fitters Ash, Simon and Kyle were also incredibly kind and considerate, doing everything they could to make the process easier for me. On top of that, the quality of their work is excellent - we’re so pleased with the final result!

We’ve since purchased a bed from the furniture department, and the delivery service was just as brilliant.

Thank you again to everyone involved - especially Simon for all his patience and reassurance. We’ll definitely be returning in the future! 😊

Received our delivery from Simon and Scott and very pleased. We received a call and text to notify us of the time . They were both friendly ,efficient and helpful. We recommend John Doe for their service and their helpful staff and products

Simon and Scott called in advance to let us know their ETA and arrived promptly, carefully carried in the sofa and dining chairs, assembled and positioned them and explained about care and cleaning. They were knowledgeable, efficient, polite and friendly 😀😀

Simon and Matty were very helpful in taking out our old sofa and putting the new one in place, polite and friendly.

Purchased 3 bedroom wardrobes. German made and very good quality. Excellent initial sales service from Stuart with the installation today by Simon and Scott which was faultless. Very professional all round and would definitely recommend.

Simon and Scott delivered our mattress today. Simon phoned 20 minutes before delivery to let us know that delivery was imminent.

Very professional team.They removed the old mattress and replaced with the new one and Simon explained all the after care procedures for the new mattress.
