Written by the company

The Acorn Group (incorporating John Payne) is much more than just the various estate agency brands you now see on the high street, and 2022 saw us join forces with Leaders Romans Group to become part of a 260-strong branch network with over 2,600 employees. Through the unique way our branches and brands work together, we can offer something no other agent can. We provide support and infrastructure to allow staff throughout the company in many different locations to work seamlessly with each other, benefiting from a shared database and massive marketing spend, whilst at the same time retaining the autonomy to provide clients with a completely bespoke service.

Do not use John Payne -cowboys

Shouldn’t really give it one as it’s a ‘non star’ in reality. Need to warn all potential landlords. DO NOT USE these agents. They take an inflated rate but are not prepared to do any work for it. They don’t communicate, they mislead you, constantly ignore concerns. As for checking the property on your behalf they say they visit and walk through but they are most definitely blindfolded when they do go in my experience. There are much better agents in the area. Please save your money and your house. Unless you are happy giving your lovely clean property over to these guys only to get it back trashed and abused then stay clear. These people are cowboys just out for quick easy money.
