Flood insurance claim

Flood insurance claim. Once the property was completely dry it took 6 months before they came back to start a 6 week refurbishment. 18 months later it is still not complete or habitable, the quality of work was dreadful and response to complaints pretty much non existent. My mother sadly passed away without ever being able to return to her home!

Obliging and very professional

After a fire at my house, Jason and the team at Johns came in and refurbished the whole place. During this time, everyone was friendly, obliging and very professional.
The house was finished to a high standard and I could not have wished for a better experience.
Thank you guys.

They Get Work On Behalf: Of Crawford And Company, Subsidence Department, Nottingham,

This company came into our home to carry out subsidence work on behalf of my my insurer. I had problems with this company at the beginning, firstly with their Survey who didn’t make a full report out on main work, I had to contact my insurer, about issues one being sinking utility floor they sent another Survey out which picked points up that the first Survey didn’t. Work when building manager came to our home before work started, wasn’t even looking at revised schedule, luckily I had one however, standing in our dining room he said we have got to put helibars In here but he said we won’t I will get the decorator to line walls, I will expand on this latter. I had a ordering manager from Johns Of Nottingham, that came to my house to see what paint needed to be ordered, however he was very arrogant when he arrived rude disrespectful and didn’t have the right schedule too work form, he wasn’t including paint for ceilings and exterior paint. Operatives that carried the work out were absolutely brilliant polite and respectful and professional at all times. However all the way through this process I have had to police it, when it came to the last day, I had already relocked at my schedule and then went through it with one of the operatives and asked if helibars had been put into exterior wall which wasn’t for dinning room like building manager said, operative phoned him in front of me and Tim said “he forgot to tell operative about the bars” that weren’t even on site, if I had not picked up on this I would have signed it off. They did come back following week to put 6 steel anchor helibars bars into exterior utility wall. I complained to Company who dismissed the fundamental issues and so did Crawford & Company Of Nottingham. So I went higher up the ladder with my complaint. Because I felt that these two companies couldn’t see the implications if this mistake wasn’t picked up by me, and others if I had to make a claim because of these bars, importantly mistakes like this could push insurance premiums up for everyone! I contacted the Cheif Executive Andy Wats, 24th April 2019, at. Ageas, my insurer. My case has been investigated and been upheld, And Jacqueline At Ages, has said that Both Crawfords and Johns of Nottingham are aware that the standard of service you experienced was less than satisfactory and that they need to learn from your feedback. We are currently working with Crawfords on a continual improvement plan including our own in-house procedures. Would I recommend this company to do insurance work no. I must say thou if you don’t have any help at a low level at your insurer claim department go further up the ladder never be frightened too complain thank you Ageas
