As a brand, the experience can be a little clunky, but the customer service team especially Tihi, are extremely helpful and responsive.

I’m rating from a brand perspective. The majority of their reviews are from the UGC influencer side, but here is a review from the brand aspect.

I participated for 2–3 months, looking to make video and image content, and I can fully say that UGC is expensive. Anyone who has a limited budget, JoinBrand is not for you. Having an influencer make a video plus posting starts at at least $100, with an additional JoinBrand fee for influencers who do not have many followers. For those who have many followers, they can ask for $500+, but just because an influencer has a lot of followers does not guarantee views.

The con is that these influencers, the majority of the time, have many other brands on their page, and it doesn’t feel like your brand is rare when they post. Your brand will sink among many other brands on their page that they did video content for.

2. The only source of communication with JoinBrand is through email or open chat on their platform. They respond well, but most of the time it’s hard when you can only type and are unable to speak with a representative. This is a con. It makes navigating and understanding their platform harder and longer, and how things work is confusing. A brand can take 1–2 months and many trials to learn how the JoinBrand platform works.

3. They have a reimbursement model. This means the influencer buys your product, then JoinBrand will charge you ahead for the amount the influencer buys from you plus the influencer payment agreed to for the job. Once the influencer posts the content, that’s how the influencer gets reimbursed. BEWARE: if you don’t put the job price correctly, JoinBrand will take your money, and they will make excuses like “we cannot refund or do anything about it” once the job is marked completed. If you make a mistake or if JoinBrand accidentally charges you more, you have NO WAY OF GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK. This really pissed me off as a brand owner.

4. Honestly, many influencers, like on any platform, are trying to make money. If you have a limited budget as a brand, I suggest making content yourself or going to another platform where you can do a gifting model. It will be easier than JoinBrand.

5. The two pros about JoinBrand are decent customer service and a guarantee that the influencer won’t run away with your product without posting. But the con is that they are very expensive. This is why many UGC creators like their platform—it’s good for UGC, but not much for the starting brand.

I love Join Brands. The app is very easy to navigate and the team is super helpful!I think it’s a great place for someone who is just starting out. I personally do not have a lot of experience but I had a great time here.I have been with them for more than 6 months and I just encountered an issue with one brand.I was pleasantly surprised how quick the app customer service got back to me ,how supportive they were and how fast the issue was resolved. I absolutely recommend this platform and don’t forget to have fun!-:)

Love join brands! I have been able to work with some brands that were really cool! The payout process is super easy. I just had an issue for the first time and reached out to customer support and they were very helpful and quick! Shout out to Tihi for being so kind and helping me so quickly! This is honestly the best way to start your UGC journey or earn some extra money, especially during the holiday holidays. If you’re not doing it, I’m not sure why.

I have used many different platforms to hire different content creators and I must say JoinBrands outperforms ALL of them! The quality of the creators is amazing, the content they create is incredible and the overall experience has been very seamless. The platform is very straightforward and easy-to-use, caters to brands really well, is fair to both sellers and creators, the pricing is AWESOME, the customer support is excellent too. I highly recommend!
