So Far so good!
You will not be a complete “Ghost” but information is removed as the Delete Me Team does the work advocating for information removal.
I love my information being removed!
Thank to the DailyBeans podcast I heard about you all and right away trusted your hard, diligent work to protect my information from continuing in bad hands! Appreciate you all!
I did a handful of requests, plenty of them are still in a queue and its been 4 months. And my 1 year subscription will runout without them doing it
Paid for the service and after months go by, I didn’t see a change in the number of spam calls at all… seeing as this is the primary reason for subscribing, I reached out to support and asked what was going on and why I am still getting 10+ spam calls a day… and they basically responded saying “too bad. we can’t guarantee a reduction in spam calls”… so I asked them what exactly I was paying for, and if they can’t reduce my spam calls why am I paying them? And they responded by cancelling my subscription. In my opinion this is a scam to get money.
I haven't used it, but I do know that every single scam-baiter on YouTube recommends this company. This company also had an article I used to get my info deleted from Otto Insurance. Thank you for that. It really made my day a bit better.
This site list false discounts (.02 cents is not a discount for a family of 4). These sites are as bad as the ones they promise to protect your data against.
THANK YOU for your program, Delete Me. I was at dinner with family & my husband tried to search for me on YouTube. We post a lot of pet videos and he was going to show his sister. When he searched for me, I wasn't there!? I went.online and I wasn't there either!! BRAVO! Your efforts are working.
Sincerely,
S.P.
Fraudulent company. I split the family membership Sept 2025 with my adult son who lives down south. Short of it, got the reports, waited about 6 weeks to give time for their "work" to have results, went in, found myself and my son on over half of the links that stated "clean" which prompted me to go through all 85 links in their report that showed the info was "clean", "removed", or "removal in progress". When I tell you there were only 2 out of the 85 that had the personal info removed...I am not exaggerating. I'm pretty sure I'm the one that removed that info a couple of years ago, but I can't remember. 12 of the links in their reports were fake/non existent sites. I emailed the admin of one of the data sites that had my info going back 30 years to have myself removed, it was done within hours and it had a domino effect on other sites they owned and the info was gone there, too. This told me these people at DeleteMe were nothing but frauds. I emailed DeleteMe, sent screenshots and what the issue with each site was, told them I had my own info removed from one within hours, accused them of compiling client data to sell it, and demanded answers. They emailed back with a simple "We've fully refunded your subscription and cancelled effective today's date." No explanation, no "we'll make it right", no denial of the accusation that they sell the info, nothing. My conclusion: They capitalize on data breach concerns, somebody on the team aggragates/makes up data site names to put in "reports", they create a real-looking report with "clean" "removed" "removal in progress" labels, and they don't bank on someone like me who trusts virtually no one to click on every single link to find the fraud. They use the very data people give them to find and erase and they sell it. I sent everything to the state Atty Gen Consumer Complaints Dept. There is no way I am the only one.
Not worth the $. There were many sites that they missed (i.e. my information is still out there). You can make manual requests, but it's kind of useless, because they limit you to 10 requests per quarter, and not even all the requests are successful. There are still dozens of sites out there with my info. Not a very useful service after all.
I have had Delete Me for about a year now. Every quarterly report shows the same top 6 personal lookup sites "pending removal," with an estimated removal time of up to 14 days.
I submitted a custom request almost 2 months ago and it still shows pending.
There are a lot of other sites in the report where my data has apparently been removed, but if it is never removed from the most popular lookup sites, what is the point?
Maybe it's not Delete Me's fault, I don't know… mostly because they don't respond with the reason it's still there. But if I'm paying for my data to be removed… and it's never removed… then why pay for it? It's quite expensive, after all. Also, I have seen no difference in spam, Robo calls, etc.., which was supposed to be one of the benefits.
I have never been more grateful for a platform in my life. As an elected official, safety and security is my number 1 priority, and DeleteMe makes it a reality. This is a must-have tech acquisition for anyone running for office.
I've had a DeleteMe membership for about a year now, and I've seen no reduction in appearances of my name in web searches and no reduction in spam text messages or phone calls. In fact, they've increased. This service has no value. They give you all these reports supposedly professing to their achievements, and when you do a search or see your inbox, there is no proof of their efforts with your membership fee.
Save your hard earned money.
They weren’t very effective! I initially hired jointdeleteme with the hopes of having some outdated and misleading records removed from the search engines and databases. They promised fast results, guaranteed deletion and round the clock support. Unfortunately, non of that turned out to be true. If you’re looking to clear records and cleaning online presence this isn’t worth it. I was able to find Eraseinfo who I discussed with on instagram, they came highly recommended. With them I was able to clear certain data I wanted online.
There are still many data aggregators and plenty of websites that list my personal information after 1 year. The service certainly has removed my data from many sites/databases, but the outcome after a year is underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend spending the money unless you are satisfied with just a reduction in exposure. The service is setup in a way that you would have to keep your subscription going in order to keep a lower level of exposure than the average person.
After reading reviews for the top deletion services I chose Delete Me. I've been with the service about four months now and so far Im not pleased with the outcome.
Doing a search for myself, Delete Me is the first one that comes up! Next problem, I received an email on a Saturday to log into my account, but I forgot my password. I pressed 'forgot password', and didn't get a reset email. When I didn't get it by the next day, I emailed them. The response was, "Sorry, we don't work weekends!" This is not the huge automated service they claim to be if they can't reset a password on a weekend!!!
I subscribed to Deleteme several months ago. They have removed me from a lot of sites, but not all of them. I continue to find my information on public information sites. I have reported some specific cases to Deleteme, and they are unable to do anything about it. I continue to get numerous phone calls and solicitations from organizations who are finding my information on these public databases. Once my subscription ends, I will try another service to see if I can get better results.
What a tremendous effort you guys do to help us consumers get rid of unwanted data that can affect your well being. Thank you
I went with this company to completely get rid of all the information on the internet because people use it to steal and wreak havoc in your life. They have been so productive in doing that.
So fare delete has slows down all junk calls and emails .
