First Class Service
I only ever write reviews for companies that provide either exceptional or an awful service.
I can honestly recommend The Joint Pain Clinic, Mr. Aamir Safdar-Khan in particular, to anyone that's suffering pain.
I was given an ultrasound and the results were explained to me along with a treatment plan. I had two guided cortisone injections in my shoulder and after a couple of days the pain was subsiding. A week later, apart from the odd twinge, I'm now pain free. All the staff make you feel welcome and the rooms are spotlessly clean. I will definitely return if the need arises

Aamir and Tausif are excellent clinicians and as a physiotherapist myself I can wholeheartedly recommend them. I regularly refer my patients for ultrasound scanning, joint injections and biomechanical assessments and my patients are always thoroughly satisfied with their treatment.

Wrist cortisone injection
I had a great experience with Dr Aamir Safdar-Khan. I’ve been for a wrist ultrasound check because I had big pains on my right and left wrist. He said that I need a cortisone injection and of course we did it . I already feel better after my first injection on my right hand three days ago and today I had the second injection for left hand and I am grateful for that. Thank you Dr Aamir. I really recommend Dr. Aamir!

Mr Khan is very helpful and helpful. Everyone is very friendly and tries their best to make you feel welcome and at ease. Especially with treatment which as you know can be very painful.

After examination and ultrasound scan Aamir discussed his findings and recommended a cortisone injection and exercises to follow up. The injection was virtually painless and by the following morning I felt that I was walking without pain. The exercises further enhanced the road to recovery.
Aamir is so professional and knowledgeable and gives you information in a clear, easy to understand manner. Total confidence in his care!

So impressed with the service provided here after I’d been struggling with wrist pain for months. Mr Safdar-Khan performed an ultrasound scan, quickly identifying and clearly explaining what the problem was, and then injected it under ultrasound guidance. Outstanding experience
I don’t usually leave reviews but I truly felt this one was necessary.
I’ve been suffering with a slipped disc for what feels like forever. The pain was constant. I couldn’t lift my daughter. I could barely walk without discomfort, and my quality of life was steadily declining. After waiting nearly two years on the NHS with no real progress and being on medication almost 24/7 with unbearable side effects, I finally decided enough was enough.
I contacted the Joint Pain Clinic and had a consultation the same day. From start to finish, the process was professional, thorough, and reassuring. Every single one of my questions was answered clearly and with patience. The team were incredibly kind and understanding, which helped calm my nerves more than I can express.
I had the injection on the same day as my consultation but I never once felt rushed. After the procedure, I was told to wait ten minutes. When the doctor asked me how the pain was after walking again, I honestly responded, “What pain?” And saying those words after so long felt surreal.
For the first time in ages, I can move without agony. I can pick up my daughter. I feel like myself again.
Absolutely 10 out of 10. I cannot recommend them enough.
