Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. I wish I had checked the reviews before placing my order. Placed an order but before it was despatched the website said item was out of stock so I tried to call to cancel immediately and was told it was too late even though it was literally minutes after placing the order. I had to cancel via whatsapp as thats the only method of comms (?), no email received to confirm order cancelled? All very dodgy. I now await my refund which I have been told will take a week, why when I cancelled before anything was despatched?

Fraudulent company, and really bad customer experience …

This is one of the worst companies I have dealt with. Ordered an Emporia Armani watch which although got delivered in time but was all tapped up. Looked like a refurbished one. Then I had to pay additional money to return it back to them as a tracked delivery. Took them more than 2 weeks to process return and refund and even after all that hassle, they did not refund full amount

Worst experience I ever had with a retailer

Hi Vishal we are sorry that this is how you felt but all of our watches come with nylons so they won’t get scratched… we believe that you wouldn’t want to receive a scratched watch so… and for a return, it’s all transparent on our policy, we don’t hide anything.

If I could leave 0 stars I would

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Bought a watch, which isn't new as states but 100% refurbished, the fact I couldn't find the watch on any main jewellers should have been a sign it was old stock. The box which it came in wasn't authentic and the quality was horrendous, I contacted them to return and when I sent them a photo with their plastic screen cover off they said I couldn't return. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to send me a new box, which arrived and was just as horrendous as the first! When i questioned the authenticity of the product they agreed I could return, I think it helped I had paid via klarna so stopped the payments. They eventually refunded me weeks after the return & deducted me a further £5 despite the fact I had to pay for the return postage.

The company is horrendous, the products are old refurbished stock and the boxes are not authentic.

Avoid!!

Hi :) as explained, we are resellers and for any complaints about the products there is not much we can do. We do supply in house warranty for the products, but any general issue for production is not something we have any effect on.
You also have an issue with the variety of our products? Or our collection? It’s a free country and we can sell whatever we want, and it’s up to you if to buy or not. No one was forcing you. And also you could have a regret like you did, and we had refunded you.
Your problem was with the packing that is given for free as mentioned and we have no guarantee for it. Even though, we had sent you for free ANOTHER box since it was accepted by you. Eventually you didn’t want the watch, we accepted your return and refunded you the day we got a confirmation from our return department. As mentioned on our website, we deduct 5£ for the delivery (even though we sent you 2 packages) when refunding and the return to us is your responsibility as by the law.
We did everything we could to satisfy you, and it’s ok if it wasn’t enough.
We wish you a happy new year, and we hope you’ll find what you were looking for.

Refund took 3 weeks

Similar to other reviews, purchased a watch and it was unsuitable so followed the returns process, paying for own return postage. It has taken 21 days after they received the watch back to give me the refund. Absolutely ridiculous to take that long. Had to chase numerous times and they just used Christmas as an excuse despite the watch arriving back 2 weeks before Christmas. Regardless, they should be prioritising returning people’s money as much as getting new orders out. Won’t be ordering from them again because of that reason

Disappointing aftercare regarding refund

I ordered a watch which turned up fine no issues with the product- 1st Dec, just was not suitable as face of watch was too big (not their issue), followed their refund process the next day, did all they asked, paid for the recorded delivery of the watch back to them, they had received the watch back by 4th Dec and confirmed they would process the refund and this would take 4-5 business working days (10-11 dec) confirmed in a text message. I had to chase them twice and finally received my refund 19th December - 12 business days later. 1. the refund should have been returned within the time their policy/ confirmation message stated, 2. I should not have had to chase them twice for it. 3. if there was going to be a delay in the refund a curtesy message would have been appreciated rather than me doing the chasing.

Greatsales experience, but return process is poor

Update:
JW has now processed the payment as promised. Whilst the service was reasonable overall, communication could have been better and would have mitigated a lot of the concern in the returns process.

The sales process was flawless. Sales contact and updates were good and lots of open communication. Delivery was great. The watch was received quickly and in excellent working order, brand new and beautiful. It was a gift for my husband on our 10yr anniversary, he loved the watch but unfortunately he felt it didn't suit him, as the face and strap are quite wide. We initially asked for an exchange, which was accepted and processed. We were advised the price difference in the new watch (which was slightly more) could be settled once the initial watch was received. We sent back the watch and confirmed via post office it was delivered to the address on 18th Sept. My husband decided to try the new watch in a store before committing to the sale, so we asked Jonathans Watches to process a refund instead. JW agreed, but has not processed the refund. 11 days later and we have had no confirmation that refund has been issued and no further communication from the company dispite sending 2chaser messages. Very disappointing, especially given sales process was so good. I'll be pursuing a refund via my credit card company if I don't receive a response soon.

Amazing customer service.

Can’t speak highly enough of the customer service from Jonathans watches, from buying the initial watch to exchanging it for another one, the whole process was simple, easy and stress free.

I had bought a watch as a birthday present for my daughter which she was not keen on, even though I was past the returns day of 14 days, Jonathan's watches allowed me to exchange the watch for one that she liked, I was also given a refund of the difference in price of both watches.

Proven fake watch

I would give zero if I could, the watch i ordered came and something just didnt add up with the serial number, I then sent it of to the the watchmakers of the brand this watch was supposed to be and the verified that the watch was not genuine it was a copy.

I sent the fake watch back to jonathans watches for a refund and weeks passed by without a refund I finally managed to get in touch with someone, their excuse was 'we are an online store when we sent it out to a customer they must have swapped it for a fake one' they did give me a refund for the watch but this again was a pain getting back with excuses like 'ill have to get in touch with our accounts department' and ' theres been a problem with our accounts system'

PLEASE STAY CLEAR AND IF YOU DO BUY FROM HERE ALL WATCH MAKERS HAVE A DEPARTMENT WHERE THEY WILL PERFORM TESTS TO SEE IF A WATCH IS GENUINE THE ONE I USED WAS FREE SO AS FAR AS MY KNOWLEDGE GOES I BELIVE THEY ARE FREE AND WANT TO GET RID OF THE COPYS

Watch was broken on arrival, lengthy delay affected refund

The watch I'd ordered for my son's birthday arrived quickly but the second hand dial was broken. I used WhatsApp to contact the customer service team and they were helpful. Originally the plan was for a replacement to be sent once I'd returned the faulty watch however a day or two later, they contacted me to say it was out of stock so I requested a full refund. This arrived back in my bank account 10 days after the faulty item had been returned. They blamed "technical issues" with their bank for the delay.

I purchased a watch that came not working (maybe battery, unsure). All fixed and replaced within 3 working days, true to their word. At no extra cost to myself. Nice product as well.Thanks
