Like a Brother
When I first started working with Jordan Martins, I was in a tight spot. I knew I needed help building a website and a marketing pipeline, but I also had to be realistic about where I was financially.
Instead of simply saying no, Jordan sat down with me and found a way forward. We developed a plan that aligned both of our interests—if I succeeded, he succeeded too. That willingness to work with me rather than simply sell something to me told me a lot about the kind of person I was dealing with.
What impressed me even more was what happened when things didn't go according to plan.
Jordan didn't disappear. He didn't stop communicating. He didn't make promises and then leave me wondering what happened.
He stayed.
We talked honestly about what was working, what wasn't, and what we could change. When Jordan said he would do something, he followed through. Even when the results weren't coming as quickly as either of us wanted, I always felt like he was still in my corner and genuinely trying to find a way forward with me.
Unfortunately, I've reached a point where my own financial circumstances mean I need to step away for the time being. But I'm walking away from this experience with a tremendous amount of respect for the way Jordan conducted himself.
Results matter in business, but so do character, communication, and what someone does when things aren't going perfectly. That's where Jordan earned my respect.
When I'm in a position to invest in this part of my business again, I won't be starting over looking for someone new.
Jordan will be the first person I call.
