Sri Lanka private tour

We had an excellent experience on our recent family trip to Sri Lanka. Shehan made some great recommendations on both routings and hotels, to help put together the perfect itinerary. He was responsive and friendly, with competitive pricing, and he even came to meet us on arrival into Colombo. Our driver/guide, Doddy, was superb. Both engaging and knowledgeable, and happy to tweak things as we went along, to suit us, and his comfortable air-con minivan was very welcome in the Sri Lankan heat. All in all a very positive experience. Recommended.

Excellent first experience of Sri Lanka!

Our tour was well thought out, taking our needs and suggestions into account. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, putting our needs first. The hotels were very good to excellent. Overall, a great experience for our first visit to Sri Lanka

Journey X- our specialist for Sri Lanka…

Our experience with Journey X started with the planning- we wanted excursions to Yala and Ella in Sri Lanka on specific dates and with programme suited to us . They handled this very well- not only in planning but also during our trips. Our driver, Aruna, was excellent not only on the road but also taking care of our needs. The overnight stay in Yala for the safari was of very good standard ( this event was on 26/27th December, Ella on 29th December 2024 )

An unforgettable Sri Lankan adventure

Booking our Sri Lanka trip with JourneyX was an absolute breeze from the start! My partner and I wanted to go on a two week adventure across the country, but didn’t want to go on a tour with other people where the itinerary was already set. Shehan helped us plan our dream itinerary, giving recommendations on different things we could try and consider as we mapped it out. Shehan sorted our driver and accommodation for us, and the booking process was so easy and really affordable, especially considering the quality of hotels we stayed at (so beautiful!) and the level of service the JourneyX team provided us (five star ⭐️).
Our driver was Viji, who was knowledgeable, professional and so easy to get along with. He taught us so much about Sri Lanka (we had SO many questions!) and kept everything running seamlessly. All we had to do was sit back, relax, see the sites and eat the food! By the time we were saying goodbye to Viji at the airport we felt like we were farewelling a dear friend.
Would highly recommend JourneyX to anyone who is looking for a personalised, affordable and quality experience while exploring this amazing country. We’ll be back for sure 😊
