Only usable with subscription fee and ID verification, seemingly no active community. Looks like scam.
Like the many comments here, I would agree: Absolutely looks like scam. One cannot contact anyone without paying a considerable subscription fee, and also not see most things without subscription as well as being verified. Now, there is nothing wrong with a verification, but it is explained as "free and anonymous" but then before sending out the just recorded verification video, you are requested to make sure that the ID is clearly visible. To me thus just feels like a super dubious bussiness model and practice with no benefit. On top of it, I did not get the feeling that there is an active community nor nice members there, so people be careful!

The authenticity check serves the safety of all members on JOYclub. It helps to ensure the authenticity of profiles and to keep dubious users away.
The verification process itself is free of charge. All you have to do is record a short video in which you hold your valid photo ID, which will be deleted after verification in accordance with the GDPR. The video will of course not be published or forwarded to third parties.
We understand that the cost of a Premium Membership may not be affordable for everyone. Nevertheless, we allow all members to reply to messages they receive, regardless of whether they have a subscription or not. However, in order to actively contact other members, a paid membership is required.
Regarding the activity and friendliness of our members, we would like to emphasize that we are constantly working to strengthen our community and encourage positive interactions.
We take your feedback seriously and are constantly working to improve the usability and user experience on JOYclub.

Joyclub is best avoided, literally everything you do has to be checked and accepted by moderators.
Its like being treated like a child.
Take my advice and avoid this site, there are plenty of better ones.

Joyclub or F&P GmbH, based in Seblitz (Franconia) and Leipzig, the operator and administrator of Joyclub and its ilk. Was myself with distances on Joyclub and must admit that the site has the certain charm - clearly it is about eroticism and sex that attracts all and is a good economic idea from a profit point of view. However (if you look at the website of F&P GmbH) is that with the rules of conduct and I quote: 'Our values' on the website of F&P GmbH looks one must really smile. One finds there words like I quote: '...mindful with each other around...' I quote further: '...meet us and our members appreciative and on eye level...'. This is quite hypocritical if you consider how the support on Joyclub members (whether paying or not) behaves. It is surprising that with the negative reviews and what you read there partly is still possible that such a company can operate. One should hold if one these 'values' so high also even to these values. Everything else is just presumptuous and morally unacceptable. Who really deals with the thought of taking legal steps should probably do it through a community way.

Half the profiles are available to verified members but in order to get verified I need to show them my ID. Unacceptable, I do not want to show them a document that contains that much sensitive information. Tinder and other dating platforms have other methods just as effective without having to show an ID or passport
