A local branch manager would've been helpful

I was on a Sunday vacation with no access to my local range which I have been with. Customer experience and the answers that I received without being able to go to a branch manager was ridiculous and almost rude, the words that they used to describe my situation was horrendous with slight allegations. This actually went on for several days while I was in Mexico and had no defense. It was all over a check that cleared the other bank. Chase was not releasing funds based on suspicious activity. And again I couldn't defend because I was out of the country. I spoke with many representatives. Several of them were fantastic and promised to get them fixed while others or counter protective.

Absolutely Disappointed with Chase Credit Card Department

Chase, this is ridiculous. I’ve been a loyal customer, made the purchase using your credit card, and simply forgot to add the offer to the card. I’m not asking for the moon — just a one-time goodwill adjustment to process the cashback, since I DID use the Chase card for the transaction.

Instead, all I got was a cold, robotic “no” from your credit card department. No flexibility, no understanding, no loyalty back to the customer. What’s the point of offering deals if your process is so rigid that one simple oversight — which still benefited you, by the way — disqualifies me from cashback?

Honestly, this experience makes me want to rethink keeping any business with Chase. Terrible customer support and absolutely no human touch.

CHASE WILL NEVER CARE ABOUT YOU!

I was recently scammed by someone posing as a loan agent. They got my banking information and absolutely decimated my checking account.

I filed a claim through chase and they presented me with two options:

1. I cancel the claims made for the fraudulent activity, and my account goes into the negative balance of $9,495.94

2. I continue with the claim and they take the pending claims back from the merchants that the scammers stole from through my bank statements.

The support supervisor was incredibly rude, apathetic, and essentially threatened that the bank is going to come after me incessantly when my account goes negative. Late fees, phone calls, you name it.

This has been the most difficult situation I’ve ever been in, and they absolutely do not care and are not willing to help me.

Do not, I repeat NOT, bank with Chase. They don’t care about you. You’re just another dollar sign to the multibillion dollar company that they’ve established off the backs of hard working people like me.

My life is crumbling around me because of this.
Chase doesn’t care. They never will.

Thanks for reading this, be warned, Chase will never value you as a person.

J P MORGAN Post Office Card Account

Post Office Card Account. J.P. MORGAN
Have kept my late Mother's money hidden in one of their accounts for almost 7 years.
I have contract their customer service office based in, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
To ask them why they have held on to a deceased person's money , without informing the family for so long, but they will not answer simple questions and if you push them for answers, they end your call.
I have asked to speak to the, Head of Card Accounts Customer Service, but have been told he does not speak to customers with complaints or answer emails.
THIS IS A DEADFUL COMPANY TO COMMUNICATE WITH. BUT I WILL NOT GO AWAY...
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY...!

Worst Bank Ever

Hidden fees, random account freezes, and customer service that’s useless. You call, and they just transfer you around until you give up. They don’t care about customers, just taking your money. Stay far away.

Terrible experience with new account…

Terrible experience with new account opening unit. JP Morgan wealth management insists on obtaining a copy of my SSN card and DL for AML/CIP compliance. AML/CIP regulation DOES NOT require an institution to obtain and keep copies of ID documents. Only need to have them reviewed and confirmed. This can be done in a branch in person. JP Morgan’s decision to keep copies puts a person at risk for identity theft. I would avoid ANY bank that takes it upon themselves to put you at risk when not needed. Needless to say I opened my account elsewhere.

This useless bank kept my hard-earned…

This useless bank kept my hard-earned money for 40 days as an intermediary bank in a SWIFT transfer and finally decided to return my money to the original account after 40 days without providing any reason and after making multiple complaints.

AVOID them at all costs!

Poor customer service

Although they mention several times in their on hold message about how much they strive for great customer service, nothing could be further from the truth. I was disconnected no less than four times when attempting to file a fraudulent claim on my credit card.

Ask before you accept an offer

The hiring process is a complete waste of time. They pull your record from two decades ago, then require you to provide the same documents. Which in most cases is a waste of time, the criminal background is going to reflect the same charges if any. Why make us provide documents from twenty years ago just to tell us we failed the background check? When you knew it wouldn’t pass in the first place. Ten years is understandable but requiring someone to provide documents from twenty years ago and then base your offer off what those documents say makes no sense. If you even have a parking ticket in your name from two decades ago don’t even bother working here. Don’t even waste your time trying to submit documents from twenty years ago. Once an employer ask you for historical documents, kindly decline and move on to a better opportunity.

Chase Refuses to Refund Business Owner with 4 Children after being Hacked for $4,990.00!

Business Checking Hacked for $4,990.00 and Chase Refuses to Refund the Money! This happened on 10/29/2024 around 9 am at my home office. Not long after my most recent login on my laptop that day, I received a text alert that an ACH Employee Payee was created under the name David Roberts. This was on my business checking account I have with Chase Bank. Shortly after, I saw a payment of $4,990.00 in Real-Time ACH going to that new employee just created. I called Chase Bank immediately and locked my account. Luckily, I caught it quickly enough because they would have sent another $4,900.00 to the same ACH Employee David Roberts. I was able to have Chase lock the account just in time for the second payment to get rejected which happened within less than a minute. All this was happening while I was on the phone with them. Unfortunately, they said they couldn't reverse the first initial ACH payment because it was sent in real-time. After I had them lock the account temporarily, I was transferred to the claims department to put in my claim to get my money back. Based on the conversations with multiple Chase employees, this was going to be open and shut. They said that once approved, I would receive my money back within 5-10 business days. After that time had passed, I received a letter in the mail stating the claim was denied because they considered the transaction to be valid since it showed my laptop logging in just before the incident. To be clear, I was not logged in at all from my laptop when this was happening. I logged in on my phone to see if the transaction really happened before calling the fraud department. I am a self-employed business owner. I do not have any employees nor have I ever paid one. Also, you would see my spending behavior in my transaction history where I only pay my vendors, credit cards, and other bills related to the business.
I had the claim reopened multiple times with the end result being the same. I was able to get it reopened one last time before Thanksgiving, but after the holidays, I received another letter stating the claim was once again denied. I've tried everything to get Chase to do what is right. I've filed complaints with the Attorney General, BBB, etc. I also filed a police report with the Medina County Sheriff on 11/19/2024 (Report# 24003193). Because it was a cybercrime, it is very unlikely they will find the perpetrator so I can receive restitution. I even researched and tried to find a way to prove my laptop was hacked (you can see my browsing history since the incident showed me making nothing but efforts to find a way to get my money refunded). The only way I could get Chase to refund my money was to spend more than what I lost on either a forensic computer analyst to provide evidence that I was in fact hacked or a lawyer to file a lawsuit against them. This is now a lose-lose situation for me. Anything I try will just end up forcing me to spend money on something I may not get back. With the holidays coming up, it's making it very difficult for myself and My Family. My next step is to let the world know about my experience and to think twice before signing up or staying a customer of Chase Bank (JP Morgan Chase). I really hope Chase can redeem themselves and do what's right, but I'm not holding my breath. If anyone looked further into this, they would definitely see that Chase is just trying to get out of paying me back due to some loophole they created.
