Salesman was awesome although I paid…

Salesman was awesome although I paid for delivery which was supposed to be a week out and after 10 days, no call. I asked about delivery and when I should be expecting my couches and they said they were moving their warehouses and it wouldn't be delivered for 2 more weeks. I ended up driving the hour and a half to Chehalis and doing it all myself. Not impressed. Took 2 more weeks to be refunded my delivery costs, and a few calls to request the refund.

Very poor communication

Very poor communication. When store closed due to covid 19, was impossible to reach anyone by phone or leave a message as the voice recorder was shut off. Had to drive to store, slip a note through small door opening. A week later, received a call stating sofa would be delivered the following week. No call or delivery. When the sofa set did arrive ( 3 piece set), I asked the 2 men to bring pieces to door entry in exact particular order to join them together. They placed them on sidewalk in total wrong order, causing me to struggle getting them unboxed and to have to get 2 pieces out of way to get to the one that had to go in house first. A total cluster.
Have no idea if it was J.R. Furniture delivery, or sub contracted out. Again a total communication breakdown

My review

I contacted store (Tacoma, Was) and told them that my couch had broke and the lady told me that I would need to contact the warranty place and the warranty place could not find my warranty so I called back the store and the store gave me a PO contact at the warranty place again gave him the PO and explained what happened to the arm of the couch broke and the springs under my chaise lounge was broken and they told me it was a manufacturer warranty and to contact at the store again and the lady told me to email the manager which I did and sent pictures the next day I still did not hear anything from the manager on the third day I emailed the manager again asking what the issue is he has not contacted me. On day 4 and told me that a repair guy would be coming out to repair my couch this is now day 6 and I still have not received a call from the repair guy to repair my couch. I told the manager that if it is not fixed to my satisfaction that he would back from me. I told him that I just wanted my couch fixed or replaced. I will be contacting the manager today asking why I haven't heard from the repair co that they use to set up appointment to come fix my couch.

Sales man was great however

Sales man was great however, when we went back two days later to pick up our merchandise as advised we got the runaround before our tables where loaded into our vehicle. And
although we loved the store the service was very poor post purchase and we shall not be going back.

Trouble with furniture's hardware

The furniture is nice looking. Only problem is when I put it together, I have a problem with at least 1 screw that gives me headaches. That happened on a dining room table I had purchased. Now I am having a problem with a screw not being long enough to secure the back of a swivel stool I purchased.
Because of this, I am now reluctant to purchase furniture from JR Furniture.
I will be buying a sectional, as I have already put 1/2 down on it, but I'm planning on having it delivered and assembled for me. Maybe if JR Furniture has trouble assembling furniture, they will be more likely to be more selective of who they get their furniture from.

Bad service

Sales man was there just to make commision.. His behavior changed right after we booked the order. After order was placed customer service was like bad bad. I felt like I am talking to 5 yrs old.
