If you are looking to purchase furniture for hundreds more than you can purchase online this is your place. They do not price match and will not refund your money literally within minutes of sale.

not a good company

We purchase the furniture on June 20,202 they promise to deliver within 4-6 weeks from the time of purchase when the 6 weeks ware up we called to get an update on our merchandise and Frank kept pushing us out the date of the delivery, laying to us every Friday of every week that the furniture was going to be there so they can deliver, making false promises, finally on august 17,2020 8 weeks and 2 days later they deliver the display furniture but they deliver the display model, I call to the store immediately and he started telling us lies, I even went to the store my self on august 31, 2020 to complain to him about our furniture and all he had was arguments about why they could deliver the new furniture I’ve told then to come and pick up their old furniture, that we did not wanted that furniture he told me he couldn’t because they don’t give money back to the costumers witch is a scheme, I told him that we paid for new furniture not old furniture, all he did was make excuses for him and the company.

they breech the contract when they did not deliver the furniture on time like they promise is stated in the contract therefore is a breach of contrac, Frank lied to us about delivery dates on the furniture, I told him I did not wanted the furniture anymore and he said in a threatening way that they always win that they always get their way, I’ve tried to work with them but I’m fed up with his lies.

When I contact him about the furniture and about the delay, august 17, 2020 he lied to me saying that the warehouse brought the wrong furniture, they delivered the floor model furniture and after him seen that I was not going to be fooled because of his scheme. He blames the warehouse.

Then Frank said on august 17,2020 chose a furniture piece that goes with the furniture that you bought and I will give it to you for free no charge, then he saw that I was really mad and he said that on top of that he was going to give us back $500.00 that he knew how to make the furniture look like a loss to the company and that he would give it to mee.

So, if he is scheming his own company to make up for what the customer are saying about their service, this tells that the company its not a transparent company with its customers.
And until this day I have not receive nor the help, the money or the extra piece that he promises.

They tried to contact me and my wife about having to come to fix the furniture but all they came to do it to look at the furniture to tell us that they could fix it
Then its been two month he calls Monday 16, of November 2020 to come and fix the furniture.

But we are fed up with this situation, we want then to come and pick up the furniture and we don’t want their business because of their lies.
And till this day we haven’t seen any help from them at all.

Our mattresses were promised by a…

Our mattresses were promised by a certain date. They did not arrive. Our guests had to stay at a hotel. The mattresses still didn’t come for another 4 weeks. Finally delivered. After the COVID onset they just set in the warehouse then finally dropped off at the front door. Sloppy and Poor service.

horrible experience

horrible experience, was told i was going to get a percentage of a refund and i have yet to hear back. I understand we are in a covid crisis but at least someone should've been in touch with their so called customers.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. They ordered our sofa wrong. Frank the manager is chauvinistic, rude, argumentative and aggressive. Basically refused to help us. I've never been so angry with a company for how we were treated. Horrible!! Still have the wrong sofa!! No compensation given. Everyone in the company we dealt with said how terrible Frank is. Another store re ordered the section of our sectional we needed fixed but unfortunately it did not align properly. Never a call to fix this either, and it's just left with us having the wrong shape and a damaged part. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE!!!!!

One of the worst experiences I've ever…

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. My wife and I found out we were expecting earlier this year. So we bought a house. Then we needed furniture, and that's where we made the mistake by going to JR Furniture. On August 2nd we ordered a dining table with six chairs, a couch, and an entryway table. They told us multiple times in the store that it would only be $119 to have our stuff delivered. The reason we asked multiple times was because we live in Lafayette and were sure there would be a increased rate for the distance, but we were assured it was only $119. So after a month of waiting we start calling wanting to know where our stuff is. Finally on September 10th (we bought everything on August 2nd) when we called they let us know that everything was there except for the dining table and two of the dining chairs. I told them that we would take what they had so we could have people over and when the table and two chairs came in I'd just retrieve those in my pickup. They have their third party delivery people call me and I'm a little shocked when I'm told it's going to be $169 for delivery, not the $119 like we were promised. I pay it because we need a place for people to sit and call the store. I explain to them that we were told in store that it would be $119 and it was actually $169. After being placed on hold, the woman gets back on the line and says "we thought it was $139, sorry about that." $139 had never ever been mentioned to this point. I'm pissed because now I had to pay $50 extra to have a PARTIAL order delivered. They tell me they'll get back to me and big surprise I never hear from them. About a week after that my wife calls in and wants to know what is going on. She spoke to Frank. He told her they were working on it, how sorry they were, and that we'd get free delivery, and they'd receive it in about 10 days....never heard anything back. Now on October 2nd, two months after buying this stuff, we have just gotten home from the hospital after welcoming our premature daughter into the world. I call JR Furniture because it would be so nice to have a dining room table to sit and eat the meals people have been graciously bringing us, or sit with family visiting our daughter. I get told literally in his (whoever I was talking too) words that that stock date or whatever date is "October 18th, if you can believe that." This place is a joke. I await the cookie cutter reply to this review of "Please give us a call to see if there is anything we can do to improve your future experience." My name is on here, look it up. My wife and I have been extremely patient with a business that has lied to us three times so far (I'm sure number four isn't too far off in the distant future). We just want our table and chairs so we can put this experience behind us and never shop with JR again.

Jr furniture in general they rob people…

Jr furniture in general they rob people specially the Tigard store I bout furniture 12 weeks ago and they haven’t delivered like they promise.... it was a horrible experience and is still is till this day I haven’t re I my furniture yet and they whant return the money

SQUEAK

The sales associate was pleasant. The furniture is poor quality. After 3 months of owning our couch the squeaks started. 6 months after owning the couch SQUEAK is all you can hear when we're on the couch. Every little movement....squeak. I'm very disappointed with how the couch has held up.

Horribly rude owner

Horribly rude owner, and it got even worse once our furniture broke twice. He blamed me that I put it together wrong, and also blamed my wife’s weight. No one I know will shop here again.

Rude sales rep, lack of follow through, terrible customer service/overall experience

The sales rep was a little rude to my friend and I but we both found items we really loved so we brushed it off. We were both told by the manager that the sales rep would call us weekly to provide an update, and still call even if there wasn't one, for when our items would arrive. A month later neither of us received a single call so my friend called and found out they had her item for weeks and just never said anything. The item she received didn't look ANYTHING like the picture the sales rep showed us in the store so that was disappointing, especially because they don't take returns.
2 months after I ordered my couch and the sales rep never once called me. I have called several times but they always seem annoyed when I do. I was told "we don't have a don't, I don't know what the hold up is. Everyone who ordered before and after you have dates in the system so I'm not sure what's going on" multiple times. One person said they would call the manufacture to find out what the issue is and call me back, never heard from them so several days later I called again and was told they were out of the fabric which is why it was taking so long.

It's been a terrible experience every step of the way. At this point I would rather get my money back and order the couch from somewhere else who will be polite and act like they care.

Delivery was problematic

Delivery was problematic; sectional ordered, large piece came over the front porch fine. One of the smaller pieces came through the front door, cracked wood on the bottom, not repaired by JR furniture. I would like that section repair since new furniture. Next time will use Ashley furniture who takes care of any pieces damaged in delivery. Not using JR company again.

Overall a good experience.

The sale itself went well, but the delivery was delayed a day because I was not on the delivery list. A bit frustrating, as I had to call a few times to get it scheduled, as well as switching my schedule to be here for the delivery. Delivery guys were nice and quick.

I bought into a Memorial Day sale…

I bought into a Memorial Day sale thinking that I could pick up the furniture from the local store down the road. After purchasing, I received an email saying that someone would contact me to pick up the furniture from a warehouse 35 miles away. I sent an email to the sales department and asked for a timeline. They said 2-3 weeks for the one set and 5-7 weeks for the other. Its been just over 4 weeks now and no communication has been received on either pieces. They need to add the actual shipping estimates to the purchasing screen and possibly wait to charge their customers until the product actually ships. If I had known, I would have gone somewhere else to purchase. I would like to have furniture in my home.

Helpful but not pushy floor staff. Answered most of our questions and seemed to know their product fairly well. I was interested in a particular brand, one salesman knew about it and the other, not so much. One was very helping about arranging shipping to Alaska, but our original man said he wasn’t a shipper and couldn’t answer anything. Given how much furniture gets shipped to AK from Seattle, I think staff should know basics on the subject. Furniture arrived in great condition and no issues.
