My 4th visit to the jubilee was equally as good as my first
This place should be packed out such is the quality of the food, serving the best Indian cuisine in the Cannock area.
King prawns excellent to start with lamb curry infused with a drop of brandy hits the spot perfectly as main.
Perfect naan bread added to the meal.
Special message to the chef that’s a great meal.
Drinks 🍷 plenty to go at.
Friendly staff who always make us welcome.
Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.

What a disappointment this Indian bar turned out to be.

We are regulars of the Sapphire Indian restaurant in Hednesford but because this renovated Jubilee pub is now complete I decided to take my wife for a meal for her birthday . What a bad mistake !! As we entered the bright lighting almost blinded us I thought we had arrived at a bingo hall so cold , no one else eating even at 7.00 pm pm . Couldn’t make the young Indian girl waitress understand “Where is your toilet “
Ordered a chicken tikka masala , chicken Bhuna ,peshwari nan and plain nan at the bar , after 30 mins it finally arrived served on cold plates , we never took our coats off and started eating this meal which was only just warm , lifted the peshwari nan up and you could see through it and lumps of coconut mush fell out onto my plate with dripping oil covering the nans and the dish they were served on . The chicken on both dishes was still pink inside and the masala sauce was orange in colour and so salty , my wife could finish it and I left half of my . We both said walking home that’s the last time we shall be visiting this pub and I have had a bet it won’t last 12 months and hopefully we can get our old jubilee back as a local pub for us British Hednesford working class community . My advise to all locals stick to the Salmson snd Blewitt for your Guiness and the Sapphire fir your Saturday night curries .

Honestly don't bother

Honestly don't bother, we have tried three times to eat at this place and been turned away every time for various reasons.

Food servicing times are also ridiculous. Staff are rude and dismissive.

We booked a table here as we were staying nearby. The pub is very nicely laid out.
We were told that the menu was very limited but we found something we would eat and we ordered. We were then told that some items were unavailable so we ordered other food. Not the best meals we have had. Realise the pub is under new management but the staff need to upgrade the food service quickly.

My partner and I came for my my…

My partner and I came for my my birthday meal Sat in the function room which was nice and romantic as we was the only ones in there. Ordered our food which took 45 to come when we got our food my partner got the wrong order. He ordered a mixed grill got a steak and chicken grill. when he went and told someone he was told someone would come sort it out. 7 mins later they brought a sausage and a gammon steak out and handed it to my partner to put on his plate. The other food was all ready starting to go cold. We was expecting him to get a new plate of food. Then after our meal we ordered fudge cake and to our belief that also took 40 mins to come only after my partner mentioned to a member of staff we was still waiting for it. She was shocked her shelf we was waiting 40 minutes for fudge cake as it only had to be sliced . The staff was lovely and the food was nice but the waiting times was ridiculous and it wasn't that busy in there .

visited 9/12/23. Great

visited 9/12/23.
After seeing good reviews today on local spotted group about salt and pepper, we realised the venue had indeed reopened. that post was a good advert. so a call to book in on opening was done and a drive down for food. we were greeted and seated promptly with a smile. food delivery was fast and quality / quantity of food was also great. looked after here very well. will recommend time and time again. the salt and pepper was present and correct. Smashing. Best 73.

Jubilee Inn!

We came across Jubilee Inn today by chance, party of 6 plus 1 baby and 2 dogs. The staff were exceedingly welcoming from the start, very friendly, to both us and our fur babies.

We ordered our food and drinks which came in good time, food was lovely and the service was second to none! Would definitely recommend and would use again if we find ourselves in the area

States they use fresh local food but when we visited it was far from fresh food !! The roast was awful, it was frozen veg and sliced packed meats, and the deserts were from a box !! The raspberry cheese cake was a £1 boxed from Lidl or somewhere yet they were selling a slither for £5.95 !! As for the strawberries and cream you could have pieced the chopped ones back together and got no more than 5 strawberries for £5.95 !! They prices were extortionate for the poor quality of food, there were 4 of my paying family ( there were other paying families in our group) and we had 1 starter, 2 adults roasts, 2 children's roasts and 1 desert and just that and i paid £60. Some people may think that seems reasonable and if the food was amazing AND FRESH id agree but i know how much it costs to cook a fresh homemade roast and fresh homemade cheesecake and what they served was far from at very high prices for what we actually got !! I will not go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else !! Extortion and greedy place should be ashamed of themselves!!
