Julia began Jumping Junefish in 2023 when she had found her polymer clay toolbox from childhood and began sculpting things again. In 2024 she had the privilege of setting up her first ever booth at the first ever Dark Daze Music Fest in Anchorage, Alaska. She met many cool artists in the artists alley who inspired her to keep going. She continued in 2025 by setting up booths at Yuki Fest, 1st Saturday Market, and at BOSCO’S Geek Swap Meet.
