Juniper training has been alongside me throughout my apprenticeship and supported the best they can. I had Harris Aslam as a tutor who made it possible for me to receive the grade I got. If it wasn’t for the support of Harris and juniper I wouldn’t be where I am and I wouldn’t hold the knowledge and skills I have today which help me succeed within my job role.

Juniper Training is a really good apprenticeship provider, they help you and give you a lot of support when you need it even if you don't ask for it. Harris A. is a very good tutor and valuable mentor/coach and is always there to help you out.
I was in collage studying health and social care and I did work experience in this pharmacy and they gave me a wonderful opportunity. I’ve developed all my communication skills, it skills and more. I’ve learned more about how working in a pharmacy works and the process of it all. I’ve revised support from all my colleagues. I found it worthwhile and if I didn’t find this traineeship I would have carried on in health and social care with no idea what to do in the future.

Before starting my traineeship, I was unsure about what career path I wanted to take. I was applying for jobs but often felt unprepared and lacked confidence. I wanted to gain experience but did not know how to get my foot in the door.
Since beginning the traineeship, I have developed a wide range of skills, both practical and professional. I have improved my communication, time management, and customer service skills. I also learned about teamwork, workplace etiquette, and how to handle different tasks independently.
Throughout the programme, I received strong support from my tutors, my manager, and my colleagues. They offered guidance, regular feedback, and encouragement that helped me grow in confidence.
As a result of the traineeship, I now feel ready to enter the workforce. I have a better understanding of what is expected in a job and how to perform well. I have even started applying for jobs with more confidence.
I found the experience worthwhile. It gave me a clearer idea of what I want to do and helped me build a solid foundation for my career. If I hadn’t joined the traineeship, I think I would still be searching aimlessly for jobs, feeling stuck and uncertain about my future.
I was in a class taught by Nikol every week, and she was so helpful. She ensured every one in the class understood what to do, and how to complete assignments. She was extremely supportive and understanding, and made learning easier for us all.

A great big thank you to Catherine and Jennifer for all their amazing support and encouragement they have given to me. Throughout this course I was able to develop and grow my practice and skills and recieve an opportunity to complete a 4 month Placement as an Early Years Practitioner. I am now moving on to an apprenticeship position at a Early years setting and prepared for this fantastic opportunity. Once again great big Thank you to both Catherine and Jennifer and will definitely recommend this to everyone.

In my experience, working at Juniper Training was the worst job I have ever had as a teacher. In my opinion, this institution seemed more focused on finances than on education, student well-being, or staff support.
Where I worked, they crammed so many students into a single classroom that there weren’t even enough chairs and desks for everyone. The lack of proper ventilation was shocking—my classroom had no windows that could be opened. In the winter, illness spread rapidly, and we were constantly infecting each other. There were a lot of absences, with many students and staff suffering from fever and severe coughs. I was one of them.
The emotional well-being of students appeared to be overlooked. Many learners struggled with depression and anxiety, yet they were placed in the same classes as students who had been excluded from other schools due to behavioural issues. There was little structured support for these vulnerable children, and teachers and staff were left to handle extremely challenging situations alone. This created what felt like a toxic environment, where vulnerable students and teachers were left without sufficient support.
In the autumn, winter, and spring months, class sizes range from 20 to 25 students, and as a teacher, I had to support well over 100 learners every week. During mock exam periods, as an English teacher, I had to mark hundreds of GCSE and Functional Skills papers without any extra time or assistance. The workload was overwhelming, and I was forced to work excessive overtime with little to no support.
During the hiring process, crucial details were not made clear. They didn’t specify the number of learners I would be responsible for or that there was no probation period—staff signed a contract immediately. At Juniper Training, this meant that if an employee wanted to resign, they had a two-month notice period, but if the company decided to let them go, they only had to give one week's notice. I personally found this level of unfairness unacceptable. When I decided to leave, I felt pressured to stay, as I was told that I would not receive a reference if I left.
If you care about education, your mental health, or fair working conditions, I personally would not recommend Juniper Training. And most importantly, I would never take my child there.

My positive experience at juniper training is that all the staff have a friendly approach towards us students and are willing to give us extra support when needed.in my time at juniper training I have a better attendance than I did in the other juniper centre as I'm enjoying learning how to become a roofer.
