Poor customer service
Website won’t allow me to order online (had been trying for over a week) so went into store to explain what had happened. Was told cannot order in store so nothing can be done and basically won’t be getting uniform. Was told to phone headquarters and that was it. Apparently they don’t take orders in store other wise the shop would always be full - refused to make an exception even though I was physically unable to place the order online and was told I would have to explain to the school that I can’t get my sons uniform??? Zero help from the staff member on and couldn’t even tell me if head quarters was going to help.
So now I’m left with my son starting a new school in less than 2 weeks with bank holidays which will hold up deliveries and no way of getting uniform.

My child has no uniform for this school year now and they are fully aware that this is the only supplier we can purchase from.

Disgraceful customer service from Danielle who has tried to mislead me, lied and then attempted to gaslight me.
I placed our order back in July and after having me emails ignored for weeks we have since exchanged over 60 emails so far and they have failed to come to a resolution. They have reduced all their clothing sizes but haven’t put any information about this on their website. The age 13 jumpers are now the size of the original age 7/8 jumpers. I have been given 3 completely different size guides, none of which match the sizing of the clothing sent.
Highly recommend anyone having/ had issues to report this to the schools and point out that this company is the worst rated uniform supplier in Nottingham.
If you have also been mislead by this company please forward your concerns onto trading standards as this is completely unacceptable when you have no choice but to order from this company as they only supplier of the uniform.
I’m now left waiting over 2 months for a resolution and had to purchase a second lot of unbranded uniform just before school started back so the my child actually had something to wear.
Appalling. Trust pilot need to give us the option to leave a zero star review because 1 star is far too generous for companies like this.
Unhelpful customer service and extortionate postage costs.
Bought one PE shirt which was delivered for £4.95 and was too big, my mistake. Came quickly and was well packaged.
When I used checkout to buy it, there was not even an option to collect in store like there was last year.
I emailed them to see if I could go into one of the stores to exchange it for the smaller size (none of which are very local for me and only open a handful of hours throughout the week). Was told no, we don’t keep stock, you have to pay to return it. If you want the next size down, you have to pay the postage again, or go into one of the stores for a refund.
You’re paying probably the same postage charge as when buying multiple items which I didn’t need, which is not fair, so you’re subsidising those making bulk purchases.
So its a 26 mile round trip I need to do to get a refund or pay to return it.
I won’t be ordering anything from here again, thank goodness my last child is in his final school year so I won’t have to go through this again. I would use somewhere else if I had to go through this again.
It’s all set up to fund the owners, and the customer is an afterthought.
In summary, I experienced unhelpful customer service and I don’t know how they can justify their extortionate postage costs. It was not easy or affordable to exchange or return the item.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. You can't walk in to one of their stores to purchase anything. You can go in for a fitting service but then have to order online and either have it delivered to a store or your home. They're only open a handful of days and limited hours which isn't great for working parents (I don't have this issue). The quality of the trousers is appalling. Threads hanging out everywhere, difference in leg lengths (one leg longer than the other). Hems on the bottom of the legs aren't straight. The waist band hook isn't straight. I can get better quality ones from ASDA at a fraction of the price of these. They're NOT sensory friendly at all, very stiff and many pockets.
The sizes on the website aren't clear and don't specify which is the waist size and which is the leg size. Even when checking the extended size guide it doesn't tell you which is which and it only duplicates the information.
Delivery is not quick when collecting from a store, probably because they're never open.
You're much better off purchasing trousers from the supermarket and having them embroidered with the school logo.
Customer service isn't great either.

Ordered a new blazer from Arnold store
Ordered a new blazer from Arnold store, ordered same size as the last one had worn out, it came but label was a different make to the first one and was too small. So we'd paid £5 delivery, find out it's £5 to return and would be another £5 delivery for a replacement. So we thought OK, lets make the 25 mile trip to the store to exchange and try next size up, but no we can't because we phoned and they don't keep stock! Very annoying as not our fault. So now having to pay a total of £15 in delivery charges for something out of our control. The only free delivery option is to go to store, but the store only opens 10am to 3pm, so doesn't fit in with our working day. Lets hope this next size fits. Why oh why can't we just have an option to buy a badge to sew on and get a blazer elsewhere, that's how we used to do it to make it affordable.

Terrible, ordered uniform 17 days ago, was told in the shop 7-10 days.
Have rang several times but no answer or answer phone. Sent 3 emails with no response, and the shop is not open at a time when myself and my husbands aren’t at work. Now nearly a week into the new term and my son has no uniform.

I am actually disappointed that my son will be starting secondary school without the uniform when it’s a big thing already for him. I had no clue that these school uniform shops take 10-15 working days to process orders and don’t communicate at all with customers unless you go physically to the shop where your told your order has to be processed. I get things quicker on SHEIN. Makes absolutely no business sense that during peak times there is no one around to help and the website is down you can’t register or log in and there seems to be an issue with checking out orders. It took me nearly a week and four email addresses later then when I did sort my order I’m having to wait until someone goes back to the dark ages to process it!? Make it make sense.

I have been shopping at Just-schoolwear for the past 5 years for my children. Genuinely cannot fault the quality of the uniform for the price, amazing value for money.

If I could give them a zero I would! Awful quality uniform after one day back at school the stitching across the waist is coming away resulting in the belt buckles coming off at one side. My son really needs to wear a belt. I emailed photos 2 weeks ago no response and I've tried and tried to ring can never get through

Absolutely disgusting service.
I decided to use the in store measuring facility for my son. This consists of a 1 minute if that of measuring and then try one blazer on them.
The uniform arrived just in time. I tried the trousers on my son two which they measured him at 38 inch waist and a 34inch leg. Even on the tightest adjustment they were massive, a belt didn’t help either. I contacted them to which they said they don’t offer refunds of exchanges! This is completely their error. I had no choice but to order another set of trousers for my son. 34 inch waist and 30 inch leg. These are much better. So do not waste your time going to be measured they are obviously out to make as much money as possible and do not care how much out of pocket you end up being. They know you have no choice but to order from them, they could also resell returns easily they aren’t made to measure. It’s just a poor excuse. I emailed them directly and gave them a chance but they rejected a refund or exchange. I believe people need to come together to make this company apologise and reimburse people for their mistakes.

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. They seem to go out of their way to make ordering school uniform as difficult as possible. Can't purchase in store. Can't exchange items. Huge delivery charges and long delays. Eccentric store opening times. And the sizing on garmets is inconsistent, misleading and confusing. A miserable experience from beginning to end. If I wasn't forced by my child's school to purchase uniform here they would never get another penny from me. Genuinely the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I will be asking our school to find another supplier.

Takes weeks to dispatch items, and even then some of the items are such poor quality. Wouldn't use them if I had a choice. Sadly our school has chosen to use them as uniform providers...
