Day trip to Eastborn Air Show all good :Fred: and driver both good .

It was my first Trip with just days out to Eastbourne Airshow. Only 14 of us but very Friendly People and the Courier Fred can't remember the Driver's name Will definitely go on another Trip with them .

Booking confirmed 10.08.23 pickup 9.00am would be advised of any changes one week before. No notifications so phoned office to be told pickup would be from Yately at 6.30am. If l hadn't phoned we would have been there at 9.am and missed the coach. The Mini bus collected my husband, myself and another lady. Two and a half hours after picking other people up we are back in Yately and the at the Meadows Sandhurst at 9am. Why couldn't we pick the minibus up at the Meadows at 9am. We then went to Camberley to get the coach to Weymouth to be faced with very angry people who l presume had been waiting some time and thought we were to blame. Did email company. No reply.

Just 13 of us on the tour to the lavender fields. Picked up by Carl, the driver and Fred the guide, because of the small number we were in a mini bus. Fred had saved the 2 front seats for us, thank you. Drove to Cheltenham race course to join the steam train (had no idea it was there) We had a whole carriage to ourselves and very interesting and informative staff on board. Lovely journey to Broadway. Found our own place for lunch then off to the lavender fields. I thought an hour and a half there too long but in better weather could be enough. Cream tea was a scone in a bag, including cream and jam, disappointing. Given the choice a lavender ice cream would have been more enjoyable.

First time with just days out,we went to Ideal Home Show. Courier Fred was very friendly and helpful ,and the driver very friendly and an excellent driver,Will be using them again

The Crossness venue was amazing, the guide Petra very knowledgeable and presented very well. The volunteer guides were also very professional. The exhibition was clear and informative. Tea and biscuits were extremely welcome after our long journey.
There were a lot of pick up points and travelling down strange side streets which meant I was in the coach for nearly 2 hours before hitting the motorway to get on our way consequently we didn't have time for a services break. We were asked if this was OK and we agreed, but I had banked on a bit of a snack en route as lunch was scheduled for 3pm. To do the journey from Crossness to Greenwich in the 15 minutes allocated you would have had to have used the Starship Enterprise - we were nearly an hour getting there and that wasn't due to traffic hold ups. Unfortunately neither the driver nor the courier seemed to know where the pub for lunch (4pm!) was. At one point the coach had pulled in and we could easily have walked through the market to the pub, but we were taken on a tricky circuit well away from it. Maybe What Three Words might be useful? The pub was very geared up for us and welcoming and the food good. The journey home and drop offs was much, much quicker.

This was our first 'tester' trip with Just Days Out and it was a success ! We were nearly the last pick up and nearly the first drop off which was ideal. Hubby requested and got extra leg room which was helpful. We went to Bletchley Park, so it felt very decadent being driven home after a long day. It was well driven (Matt), well couriered ("Fred") and a fascinating visit. The site was equipped for us and we had a walking tour as well as free time to look at things ourselves.
The included meal was good too, at The Three Trees. Welcoming staff that remained friendly and helpful despite already having a full restaurant when all of us turned up. A really enjoyable day out.

Included meal was excellent too, at The Three Trees. Welcoming staff, a decent pint and a superb Carvery.

The trip to the Palladium to see “Jack and the Beanstalk” was very well organised and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. However I do think that future such excursions should be more carefully researched as the process of getting to one’s seat in the theatre involved many flights of stairs going up and then some extraordinarily steep steps going down. I would imagine that most of us were of the older generation and not all of us best suited to such exertions.
But full marks go to our lovely concierge, Thalia and to Dean, our brilliant driver.
