If you’re expecting to pay £150 and receive a high quality ‘Made in Corby, Northamptonshire’ globe, then actively avoid this company. I purchased the Bradley globe for my wife’s birthday and upon receiving it, I found the meridian lines between the north and southern hemisphere were not aligned. They were misaligned by 5mm, which you could visibly see from a distance away.

I emailed Just Globes, and was told that the manufacture in the US (that’s right, not quite made in Corby) would not recognise this as a fault product, and that I shouldn’t have expected anything more for a globe worth under £200. Unfortunately this meant I had to cover the cost of sending the globe back to them for a refund.

Globe was poor quality throughout, with cheaply painted metal and plastic. Save yourself the hassle and find a globe elsewhere if I were you.

I bought a Duorama Hand-laid 34cm Illuminated Globe and I'm delighted with it. I only had the space for a desk globe and it's just right. The detail of physical contours for land and oceans is great and I use the illumination more than I expected. I'm so pleased I chose one with a light. The globe is protected by an acrylic coating and the stand is sturdy. It was worth paying more for a globe of this quality.

It arrived very quickly, too, and in excellent packaging.

Initial order was disappointing but on their advice upgraded to a much better item.

We are thoroughly enjoying our globe. It is easy to read and rotate. The service was impressive.

With so many companies now it is impossible or very difficult to speak to a person if there is a problem. I made an error in my choice and when I telephoned through I spoke immediately to a very helpful and understanding lady who immediately made the changes before dispatch. It was so refreshing to get straight through with no AI. This is so important to the customer but sadly lacking now. Thank you.

A well constructed globe with impressive cartography . Looks great as both an accurate instrument and home aesthetic. Solid materials used in construction give this globe a refined look and feel. A value for money British project- highly recommended.

Globe arrived quickly and well packaged. I wanted one including ocean currents. This has Lat/Long and time dial. Great for following Aubrey/Maturing voyages by Patrick O'Brien. It is lightweight ; good for kids, however, I would have liked a heavier base. The booklet is very useful.

My husband loves the globe - very impressed by the detail and colour.

I purchased this globe for a Christmas present. The recipient is very happy with it. It came in a big box,well protected. It also lights up very evenly so no dark spots.

I purchased the Da Vinci Rust Italian Globe Bar as a Christmas gift, based on the website description describing it as having “no compromise on style” and being a “fine example of Italian craftsmanship” and a centrepiece item.

The reality did not match this description. The globe has visible printing defects (including red smudge-like marks), a misaligned meridian ring, and once assembled, it does not sit securely and wobbles. The wooden components are extremely lightweight and appear to be laminated/composite rather than solid wood, which further affects stability and gives the item a low-quality feel inconsistent with how it is marketed.

I contacted customer service with clear photo and video evidence. I was told that the defects shown were “as expected.” The only option offered was to return the item under the unwanted items policy, which would involve a 20% deduction as well as the cost and risk of returning a very large, fragile item.

Because of the size and fragility of the globe, returning it was impractical. I have decided to reluctantly keep it and modify it myself to make it stable and usable - something I should not have to do for a product sold based on craftsmanship and quality.

If visible misalignment, printing defects, and the use of lightweight laminated materials are considered normal for this product, that information should be made clear in the product description so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing.
