One of the worst online sports shops

Honestly one of the worst online retail experiences I have had by far, as per other reviews, the ‘free 24 hour delivery’ took 5 days and then arrived with a 48 hour shipping label anyway. Then the item wasn’t even what I had ordered. Took them a week to even acknowledge my emails after threatening to charge back my purchase. Received no real apology or attempt to make it right, tried to insinuate I wouldn’t get a refund and could only get an exchange while I had to buy boots elsewhere as they were an emergency purchase anyway. Quickly changed their mind when I quoted the consumer rights act an pointed out that it wasn’t just a return because I didn’t like the item… finally after sending the boots back and chasing where my refund was for a couple of weeks, they came back to say that the refund was in process and would take 5-7 days. A month later I have my money back and could not recommend them less. Just terrible.

Wish I’d have seen the reviews before…

Wish I’d have seen the reviews before placing my order! Paid for dpd next day delivery, at almost £7! After 2 days of no update I find that my order hasn’t even been shipped yet. Nobody answers the phone, no response to 2 emails and no response to their web chat. 100% would not recommend, which is a shame as we have close links with many rugby league and union teams in Yorkshire.

Terrible experience

Ordered a Gilbert training t-shirt for Christmas from JustRugby, they unfortunately sent a Gilbert polo shirt. Contacted they’re customer service, received a response from Madusha (who I dealt with throughout this process) who acknowledged the error and asked me to return for an exchange. Provided a Royal Mail return label to print off and apply as opposed to QR code that post office can scan/print themselves. Sent item back but was to told that they are now sold out of my correct item and are waiting for a stock delivery in two days-time, and correct item would be sent out. Two weeks go by and no correct item received. Contacted CS and I was advised there was a delivery delay but they are expecting it that day. I was then sent another parcel four days later that contained the same incorrect item polo shirt again! Emailed CS to complain and response was essentially a templated (but also typo ridden) response offering an apology but seemed more concerned with me returning the incorrect item in suitable, original condition with no damage/wear. Also I was asked to provide a note of why I was returning item (despite weeks long thread of email exchanges regarding the mistakes the company had made over this one order). Apology seemed hollow with no offer of goodwill gesture for the mistakes and poor service received. Requested refund which was received. Terrible experience with this company. I know mistakes happen but how you handle those afterwards is key, and I felt they did not care and barely accepted accountabilty. Will not buy from them ever again.

Awful

good experience

The item had free royal mail tracked 24 delivery which was very impressive , communication as to where my package was was excellent, they packed and dispatched quickly , i don't think the reviews do this place much justice , excellent website with excellent prices

Never received product

Purchased a rugby kit bag on 2 April, trusting the info on their website that says all goods will be dispatched 24-48 hours after purchase. Royal Mail tracker on purchase confirmation email shows no progress of product being delivered, I have yet to receive my purchase and calling Customer Service is not helpful, simply saying it's out of stock. If that was the case, the product should not be advertised as available for sale. I have had no response from Customer Services via email. Do not buy from these guys.

Very Disappointing

Hi, I purchased a pair of rugby boots on Monday 3rd Feb (in stock as per the website) with Tracked 48 delivery, so expected delivery by Thursday 6th Feb. The boots didn't arrive. I contact customer services who told me the boots will be delivered by the end of the week, i.e. Friday 7th Feb. Still nothing arrived. I was then told on the Sat 8th Feb that the boots are actually not in stock but should be back in stock by Thurs 13th Feb. I contact them again Tues 11th Feb and they said the boots will definitely be back in stock Thurs and they will ship next working day as a gesture of good will. Well, it's Fri and i have now been told it's Tracked 48 delivery and may or may not arrive before 2pm Sat. Extremely disappointing. We needed these boots for County Rugby matches Sun 9th Feb, Mon 10th Feb and in danger of not having them in time for Sun 16th Feb. We looked everywhere for alternatives but with only 2 months left of the season stocks are limited. VERY POOR from JustRugby.com

Great products and found the customer service to be really good. Good selection of sports clothing and equipment. Great customer service with a scrum cap I needed to exchange for a larger size.

I think this must be a scam site.

I think this must be a scam site.
I ordered some boots for my son, hoping they would arrive by the weekend for a game. 24hr Royal Mail post included at the value I spent.
Rang on Friday to ask if they would be posted to arrived by saturday? "No problem" I was told, the delay was because they were waiting for a delivery from Gilbert.
Odd that, I ordered Canterbury boots..
Nothing arrived Saturday.
I rang Monday - really busy, definitely posted today.
Tuesday - They should be with you by Friday.
I cancelled for a full refund - no confidence, lied to, treated like a mug.
Buy somewhere else, they might even turn up.
JustRugby don't have any intention of sending things to you.

Just Rugby. Com - Joke of a Company

I would give Justrugby.com less than 1 star if I could. Placed an order for Rugby boots on Saturday for Royal Mail 24 hr. I rang on Thursday 5 days later to be told “oh they are out of stock” it took me chasing 5 days later as I needed them for a game that they were out of stock. This company is a joke. How long would they have left it before they updated me. Steer clear of this Company would be my advice. Will update again on how long it will take to get my money back
