While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

11 Five-Star Reviews within 2 days ...

Eleven 5-Star Reviews within 2 days (9. & 10. January 2026) after I started the review process (on the 8th Jan.) and my experience of the toxic bully culture on JustTheTalk forum.
(Click under my review here "show 1 more review by expret.org" to make my review start of JTT visible).
Most of these 5 star reviewers are first time reviewers, wich is always a give-away of organising as a group to counter critical voices.
Some 5 star reviewers here I recognise as the folk who act like a clique against newcomers on JTT as they use the same name they use on JTT.
Very clearly visible how they act like a mob and then try to counter my experience with mass 5 star reviews within 1 day. :-D
Watch and learn people who experience online bullying. This is how a mob on a toxic site operates.

25 years of top class entertainment

25 years of top class entertainment. A talkboard with the widest range of interests possible, come here to talk roads, shitgibbons, football, Oasis, Neaderthalian literature, German beer, and of course the frolics at 10 Downing Street.

A great place to waste 20 minutes

A great place to waste 20 minutes when you should be doing something important. A wide choice of discussions from silly to serious. The only downside is that they don't appreciate good football, like what Spurs play.

I really rate JUSTtheTalk

I really rate JUSTtheTalk. If you’re looking for a clean forum with no pop-ups, avatars and annoying special effects then let this be your place.
You will find at least one person to give you answers to anything you wished to know, you will smirk, groan, get annoyed and laugh at the witty and sometimes annoying posts - but it is all done in the name of community.

Come and lose yourself for a while and just skip the fish puns.

JUSTtheTalk - in a class of its own

JUSTtheTalk is a breath of fresh air compared with many other internet forums. There's a plain and simple text-only interface, with no adverts, pictures or any other clutter to distract from the discussions. It's run independently on its own platform with no commercial involvement. The topics are many and varied and there's a wide range of contributors from all walks of life. Given its roots in the old Guardian Unlimited community, there's a certain left-of-centre aspect to the political threads but alternative viewpoints are usually tolerated. Generally speaking the posters are good-humoured, friendly and welcoming. There is, for historical reasons, a certain level of distrust of newcomers but that's not difficult to overcome. I joined 18 months ago and now feel as much part of the community as long-established posters who have been there for decades.
I would recommend the forum to anyone with an enquiring mind, a wide range of interests and a keen sense of humour. The last is essential if you want to survive with your sanity intact!
