Superb software. jv16 Power Tools does a number of things well as a result of which I have retained it on my computers. I have been using the software for quite a while after I stumbled upon a recommendation by a software writer for a good registry cleaner, which was my main problem back then. Since then, the developers keep building and adding new features that give it a multifaceted usage. I have changed computers several times over the years, including using laptops, and jv16 Power Tools is on all of them.

I have used JV16Powertools for many years. When working on various problems, sometimes correcting a registry error fixed the whole problem. It is not a total answer for all things, but it has helped me tremendously over all.
Whenever I had a problem with the program or didn't understand some thing I was doing, I would contact them. I didn't think they would respond so quickly, like a day later. I bought a new system from Swann Security six months ago and haven't heard from their support yet.
Last week, one of my students asked about the slowing down of his computer. I suggested the Jv16powertools, so he bought it. There was a delay in the registration.
I contacted the company about it and they responded the next-day and everything was right in the universe.
I am very happy with this program and this company, so I recommend you try the trial version and see for yourself how well it works. Thank you.

This is the best cleaner I have ever used. Things run fast and old files are gone.

Like others, I've been a dedicated user of jv16 Power Tools since the early days when it was "RegEdit." I was always trying other similar utilities, but, over the last few years now, at least, I don't bother anymore. The improvements and reliability of the software, made over the years---and especially over the last year-and-a-half---has kept it far ahead of any competition, making it more thorough and easy to use than ever before. There are never any surprises or unpredicted deletions of anything and the reports after cleanings are easy to understand. I've never had to use this feature, but every registry or file cleaning, or un-installation of third-party software can be easily reversed if unwanted results occur. It's really gratifying to un-install a program you no longer need and jv16 has done it even more completely than the Windows 10 uninstall utility. No unwanted fragments left behind in the registry or old icons on your Desktop. Not only is jv16 the best utility I've ever used, I stopped searching for better. jv16 is in a class all its own.

I am using jv16 PCTools since its first appearance with the name Reg cleaner a long time ago.
Since then my reliance in the characteristics of this very fine software was never deceived and its capabilities continuously grew up till the present version, I am sure that will not be the last.
Its best quality: it does what it promises. Simply!
Last, but not least, their technical staff is of outstanding level: well trained, competent and quick to reply to any technical question.

Fantastic software-My computers are running 3 times faster than prior to using Jv16 Powertools. So many useful tools. I recommended it to the 400 Pharmacists I work with. Rates a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Love jv16 Power Tools! Great system optimizer and Macecraft offers excellent program support.

Macecraft seems to be customer oriented. I am very satisfied with this software and their customer service.

I have used jv16 Power Tools for many years and never have I had a problem. Each year it just gets better.

I have been using JV16 for 12 years. I have experienced problems with one very well known cleaner being a little over zealous. JV16 does its job reliably and quietly and I like the way that registry keys and filepaths are organised before you make the final decision.

Using jv16 since virtually ever there's little other to say about it apart from that it's a marvellous tool for keeping your system at peak.
Not much arguments for not using it.

A most Versatile Software

I was using the old versions from long ago and they kept on becoming better. I would suggest if anyone wants an all around software then this one I would strongly urge considering.

Before I started using jv16 PowerTools, my MS Windows machine would become slightly slower every day/week/month. Eventually I'd reinstall Windows, and all the software, and then do all the set up work ... so frustrating. And it didn't matter if I was using Windows XP, 7, or 8, they all got progressively slower. In the past seven years of using jv16 PowerTools I've reinstalled Windows twice: once several years ago in a failed upgraded from Windows 8 to 10 and once a couple of years ago in a successful upgrade. My machine is just as fast now as it was seven years ago.
Also, I'm thrilled they're bringing back the suite of file utilities. Some are invaluable time savers.

I have been using Power tools for many years. Since it's RegClean beginning when running WIN 3.1 (a nightmare) I think.

I used to have quite a few different tools for various purposes. Windows got better over time and the needs diminished. Still there are certain situations where a trusted, highly reliable set of tools is needed. That's where JV Power Tools plays a primary role for me. In fact, this is the only tool set that I now trust and use.

The author (what I believe that's what the "JV" in the name stands for) is one of the two all time great great windows internals programmers. The other being Peter Norton, who sold out years ago and left his work in the hands of incompetents that I won't mention.

I sure hope that JV can stay the course. We need him and this truly outstanding product.

Upgraded to JV2020 from JV16 2014 only because of strange behaviours with the registry cleaner in Windows 10. Although I admit things are evolving in a positive way with the latest releases, I still prefer and continue to use the old version, except for the reg. cleaner. The user interface was better (clearer), there were more useful tools, evrything was faster. The actual optimizer mixes everything and the overview is misleading. Same for the duplicate fles finder. I'm only an ancient user, but I would have preferred an "actualization" and debugging of the old version. Sorry for this honest evaluation.

After five years without been able install the updates of my Windows 7, the suggested methods available in the internet didn't work, I decide to try the jv16 Power Tools. Finally the problem was solve.
