jv16 PowerTools Reviews 

I'm using JV16 since many years now and has been always satisfied. I encoutered some minor issues in the past, but everytime, my problem was solved easily. My last update with Win 8.1 created a conflict with JV16 and this one stops operating correctly. I tried many tweeks but nothing to do... Stefan from JV16 send me the link for Beta version 6.0.0.1024 which I installed and my problem was solved. Everything is now OK. Furthermore, new features and look are great, but a little confusing with all new informations I now have in my PC. Definitely worth much more than the value of lifetime licence...

An excellent piece of software which has developed and improved over the years. Having been a user since 2009 I can highly recommend it. And the service given by the developers is second to none. When I had an issue recently with the updated version I received a helpful response to solve the issues almost immediately.

I have written a report criticizing the lack of response to my problem. The lateness of the reply has now been explained to me and the problem has been resolved to my complete satisfaction. All good and am now using the software once more.

Software works great. Customer service is also great. Glad I discover this site. I recommend it.

Microsoft Outlook sent me the following notice:
new.macecraft.com gave this error:
Remote server returned an error -> 550 Mailbox is full / Blocks limit exceeded / Inode limit exceeded

I have not rec'd the software or the key.

Please respond as I love the software and want to upgrade to the new version.

I have been a lifetime user of JV16 and have always had both excellent service when it was required and found the app to improve my Windows system on a number of computers. Recommended.

It makes my notebook computer (using Windows-10) much faster as never been before.

I have written about a problem that I have had . Docket # 24404  After 3 more attempts to get an answer I am still waiting. Very poor support.

I bought the lifetime license two week prior to the black friday and during black friday sale the price was lower than my purchase price. Since i was within the 30 day refund period i had asked them to cancel the order as i wanted to avail the discount. They cancelled the order without any fuss and i placed order again with the lower price. This review is for only the support aspect and i am yet to experiment with the product.

While I was initially very frustrated by an announced change in licensing from a "lifelong platinum" into "annual subscription" and the subsequent failure to detect my account for activation on a new installation this got addressed very quickly once I raised it with the Macecraft support team.
I don't use the product on a daily base but when I want to use it, I really, really have to.

While I'm not the biggest fan of "automated optimisations", JV 16 has been my absolute go-to for checking registry leftovers, brute-force uninstall of programs that left an untidy mess, causing conflicts.
This product saves me tedious regedit searches, deletions, new searches and is my first run before "restoring yesterday's drive-backup"

I have used JV16 for many years, ever since it was released free in return for a donation for some cause that I don't remember.
It has improved steadily over the years, always doing its job of cleaning and removing rubbish. The latest iteration is certainly the fastest and most stable they have released.

Great product that is improved on year after year. More importantly, if you have an issue, support is immediate and thorough. They actually read your issue rather than copy and paste answers that have nothing to do with the problem you are experiencing. It's just not a registry cleaner, its a suite of tools that help you use your PC better and improve its performance.

I have been using jv16 Powertools since it first hit the market in the form of RegCleaner many many many years ago. Every update has been an improvement both in terms of productivity and presentation. When I have had a query I have found the customer service to be equally impressive.

I am using a computer since the Tandy TRS 80 was launched ! Now with Windows 10 version 20H2 I have discovered jv16 PoerTools and, thanks to it, been able to clean thorougly the registry and suppress a malware which waq detected but not cleaned nor by ZHP Cleaner nor Malwarebyte. I am using it regularly... say about once a week and its keeping my PC working faster.

I have been using Powertools since 2007. The program has gone through a lot of iterations. The system cleaner is safe to use though it doesn't have any privacy cleaning functions. Currently on my system the uninstaller hangs at 90%. When it works, it's better than the standard installer, though it is slower.

My computer is about 4 years old running slow and would very often freeze. Over the last couple of years I have on numerous occasions taken it to the tech shop to get it fixed. It would go OK for a few weeks then need fixing again. I was told it had a virus or its old and I need a new one etc. With nothing to lose I tried the Macscraft free trial with such good results I purchased the lifetime offer which cost me less than an average visit to the tech store. The computer now runs like it did when it was new "ALL THE TIME".

I have been using the Jv16 program for many years. I am very pleased with how it works and how it is updated. Intuitive menu and many options for operation puts it in a number of the best utilities, without it my Winows would fall apart :)

I have been using Macecraft software for many years, and fortunately have not had any PC problems since, I always look for and download/install the most recent version whenever I notice that an upgraded version is available. Since following this procedure, I have not had any virus or computer problems! Kudos for their team and for me luckily finding their software!

I have been a happy Linux user since Windows ME trashed all my work files, just as I was loading a backup tape. Recently, I have been running a couple of Windows 10 machines. Now, I felt rather uncomfortable doing this, and wanted a belt, braces, a safety net, and a parachute, and went looking for reviews of registry cleaners. The review that caught my attention said that registry cleaners were a dangerous waste of time, and money, far more likely to do harm than good. Don’t touch them! Unless, of course, you get a copy of jv16 PowerTools! Naturally, intrigued, I went straight to the Macecraft website, and found that I could download a fully functional free trial copy. Great. Well, it took only a couple of days to realise that PowerTools not only worked; it was essential.

Let me digress: Windows is the only operating system I have come across that self-destructs over time. Windows needs constant maintenance, and knowledgeable attention. Updates are an example, and justifiably notorious. You perform all those little rituals that ensure fertility, a good harvest, and good hunting, then you press the Download and Install button. Let us pray. Then, nothing happens - for hours. You could practically go on holiday. Finally, long after you’ve lost patience and gone off to do something else, and, if your luck holds, your machine reboots into Windows. But, Microsoft doesn’t seem at all concerned about the swarf, and oily rags they’ve left behind. Everything may seem fine, for a while, but then you start to have all sorts of interesting problems. Or, would do if you were unlucky enough not to be running jv16 PowerTools, With a single click, you can almost make Microsoft vanish. Your PC is yours again, and running clean and smooth.

It would be an understatement to say PowerTools is impressive. It is fast, and it does exactly what it says it will. And, for those that want them more tools are being added. If there’s a problem Stefan Calin in Customer Service will respond immediately with courteous help, and advice, and if that doesn’t work you can bet there will shortly be an update that fixes the problem. I cannot think of any similar software that fulfils it’s promise so reliably. The good people at Macecraft work really hard.

Give jv16PowerTools a try. You have nothing to lose, and I think you will be delighted with the result.
