I have literally just returned home last night from my reserve with Dr Bilge!

The communication with Lizzie is very informative, comfortable and reassuring. It felt like I was communicating with a long time friend.

I was sleeved in Istanbul and it wasn’t done properly so I came for resleeve.
The care, the exceptional extent of tests, pre surgury information and after surgery care was priceless.
My surgeon recorded the before and after to show how my previous surgery was done wrong - but he never once bad mouthed my previous surgeon, just said “he fixed it” very professional.

Everything down to the lovely man who transferred us - this man was so friendly and made my mum and I feel so comfortable- came to us with my name on a placard.

There is a language barrier but I feel it’s selfish for uk residents to expect the nurses to speak perfect English when they don’t at all try to speak Turkish!
I never struggled as there is always google translate.
I appreciate the care staff very much and actually miss their smiling faces.

What more can I say, other than “perfect.” DR KAĞAN BILGE is a fantastic surgeon . as a healthcare professional myself , I researched the best surgeon for over 6 months and wow how my research had paid off . He was thoughtful , kind and nothing was too much trouble , even holding my hand in theatre . The whole process was amazing from start to finish . Dr Bilge visited me daily in hospital and actually spoke to me as a person and removed my drains personally The pre and post op tests are far beyond the UK .The Nursing team and Lizzie Thank-you not to forget Ali , my driver . I give them 5 stars x I was sleeved 21st November 2023 and iv had 4 and half stone loss up to now and counting was not expecting these results so fast it’s now feb 2024 I’m so excited for summer already I don’t recognise my body in the mirror il attach my before photo just before surgery truly amazing experience from start to finish clean welcoming comfortable hospital was collected from airports by private transport lovely light up flooring and ceiling mirrors interior and taken to the hospital all luggage carried and wheeled nothing is needed on our part really are treated with care and respect yes a bit if a language barrier with nurses but they were so lovely and caring my mum couldn’t stop hugging them felt like close family friends always asked how we was and made to feel so well looked after and in safe hands and thanking them we used the translator app when needed took my mum as my companion and she was happy with the care I received they gave her meals and fresh clean towels and bedding daily Lizzie had amazing English so helpful and answered all questions thoroughly and on leaving to the 5 star hotel hotel su so posh 5 stars and even had a menu for pillows lol 😂 I was given a full dietary file and plenty of protein powders on discharge a fit to fly letter for the airport really made my anxiety better around everything I even had teeth whitening at a brand new high tech dentist with its own Starbucks with my package was like something In Hollywood and so lovely clean and professional and iv kept in regular contact with them since being home and keeping them informed of my progress dr kagen had very good English a very caring genuine smart professional doctor couldn’t have asked for better all tests done thoroughly and quickly a ecg even flagged up I had Brugada syndrome with my heart something here in England always missed they changed my life and have saved it to and I thank them so very much x

From the minute you get off the plane the care you receive has been second to none. Dr Kagan Bilge introduced himself when we arrived at the Hospital, he really puts you at ease. I couldn't be more pleased with the way the Surgery went and the aftercare from the nursing staff, my only regret is not doing it sooner.

I went alone for a gastric sleeve and felt very comfortable and welcome. I was kept informed at all times. I had my gallbladder removed aswell as the gs. Dr Bilge is an amazing surgeon and I was in safe hands! The hotel was beautiful and again I felt so comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Lizzie the medical assistant is such a rock and is there from start to finish. I would highly recommend Dr Bilge, Lizzie and the team.

I couldnt recommend Dr Kagan Bilge enough. He is a very clever surgeon. I had my gastric sleeve on the 9th of Feb 2024 and feeling almost a lot better now only few days gone. His team are brilliant explained everything step by step of the process. His medical assistant Lizzie is really good too. Anything you ask shes always there to support you in any questions. I wish I had this done longtime ago.

I sent to Turkey to this excellent surgeon. My first night I was vip transfered to the most beautiful 5 star hotel . The next day I went to hospital had all my pre ops done and went for surgery. I was treated amazing everybody was so kind and friendly nothing was to much trouble for them . I 100 per cent recommend them x

After my initial contact of interest regarding the gastric sleeve, Dr. Kaganbilge made contact with me, he gave me the contact details of Yasemin Ilhan who was my contact for any questions I had and there was a lot, Yasemin made me feel at ease and arranged everything for me from start to finish. I took a companion with me, Yasemin met me at the airport, she was very welcoming and friendly. We were taken to the hospital via private transport, Yasemin made me feel at home, the surgeon came to introduce himself to me, Dr. Kaganbilge his English was very good, he went through everything with me, surgery was the following day. The Dr and carer us with you throughout your journey, they both really cared about you, answering any questions and checking on you and keeping you up to date every step of the way. The care was 100% before and after surgery. I was introduced to a dietician Ecem Yucel who made contact thereafter up to 6 months via WhatsApp any questions were answered very promptly. On discharge we stayed at a 5 star accommodation which was out of this world, it was all inclusive. From the beginning to my flight home I would highly recommend anyone thinking of having the gastric sleeve I would recommend to anyone. The service and care was 100% i had no problems at all. Everything is included in the price which I found very reasonable again other companies. I was very happy with everything. I'm now 10 weeks post op and I've lost 2 stone 9lbs so far. I am still in contact with my dietician even the Dr. Kaganbilge gave me his contact details before I went home, he forwarded the pictures of my stomach which I requested. I would also recommend buying one months shakes and medication pack available at the hospital.

I would 100% recommend Dr. Kagan Bilge for gastric sleeve surgery very friendly guy my husband and I had some laughs with him. All the nurses on the ward are lovely bit of a language barrier but nothing that google translate couldn’t help us with. All pre op tests eda takes you round the hospital for them so no need to worry about finding your way. Last but not least Giovanni what a guy. Picked us up from the airport took us to the hospital and stayed with us until we were settled. Even ordered us food from justeat to make sure I enjoyed my last full meal before 12 o’clock 😂 he also came round one of the nights after my surgery to check on me and because my door was closed he left a note to say he’d been there. He also took us to the hotel and sorted everything out for us. He’s just an all round good guy, a gentleman and a credit to this hospital. If you decide to go with Dr. Bilge I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Giovanni 🫶🏽

I travelled 'Alone' from South Wales UK and 'Not Once' did I feel sad or alone!.. The amount of help, care and support I received from the beginning is unreal.
From the moment I got to antalya the lovely Giovanni was there to greet me. He took me to the hospital and stayed to ensure I was settled. The great team of nurses were outstanding and really made me feel so welcome + relaxed.
The morning of my pre-op tests I had Giovanni + Simay take me to them all, explained everything to me + made me feel calm.
Dr Kagans care was amazing. He came to see me a few times Pre-Op + also a few times Post-Op to ensure I was ok and to make sure I understood everything about the procedure + the aftercare + he made me feel at ease. He have changed my life for the better + I thank him greatly. The guy is a genius. I'm so glad I chose him to do my sleeve.

I underwent gastric sleeve surgery with Dr Kagan. He has a wonderful bedside manner, very kind and caring and a good sense of humour. I am more than 10 days post op and have had no pain. I am also 10kgs down already. Aftercare service has also been great and any questions and advice I have needed has been promptly answered. I would highly recommend Dr Kagan to anyone needing bariatric surgery.

Before coming in i was verry worried about the travel and the details but once we started doing the pre operation tests i really felt understood and comforted. I had a private translator all the time and he helped me trough every procedure. After the surgery i spoke with the doctor himself and i consulted him troughout my recovery process. P.s I normally wanted a gastric baloon but doctor kagan insisted on getting a sleeve due to my eating disorder and thank god he did i feel so much better and i have lost almost 20 kilos with the diets and exercises they gave me. Also since its much cheaper than Italy i think everyone should give it a shot.
