I am not satisfied of this product.
One of the knife is arrived broken and after several claims to the client service, nothing moved despite promesses to send a new product.
I am very desappointed as the knifes were destinated for the 18th birthday of my daughter.

Terrible service, ordered a knife set for my son and they didn’t respond for 1 week only to say it was out of stock. Then send another set and double the import value so I had to pay a lot of tax.
No option as was already late.
This was purchased from what appears to be a UK site in sterling then all communication and excuses in French.

Scenario: Someone placed an order for me by accident, I was able to reach team Kaitsuko 2 hours after the placing of the order and they said they can't cancel it since it is already in process.
Order has been returned to them since 27 Nov 2025. I did even pay for the shipping thru Chronopost since it is one of their rules.
Now, 13 January 2026, 1 month and a half of contacting them, showing my disappointment, waiting for the reimbursement and still NOTHING.
It's like I am not even talking to a team in France! What a shame. Really. This is my first customer service where I waited for more than a week for reimbursement.
6 weeks of returned order and still no reimbursement.
They are SO FAST in processing the order but reimbursement? Do they even know that word?
I am still waiting in vain for my reimbursement.
They don't even care. AT. ALL.
I already contacted the 3rd party where I pay and even they can't get a response from them.
I dare you buy their knives.⚠️

ALLEGEDLY DROPSHIPPING!
I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Based on my experience, the knives we received seemed to be of very low quality and appeared VERY similar to products I later found on AliExpress for a fraction of the price. While the website presents them as artisan-made in the “Japanese tradition,” my personal impression is that the items did not match that description. When I received the knives, it was very clear to me that the quality was minimal, if not absent. After some research, I would argue that these are allegedly drop-shipped from AliExpress with an added logo. Best to avoid.

Dont waste your money or time - Well after reading these reviews I wouldn't have bothered ordering from this site, which I am increasingly starting to think this is a scam. I ordered my products on the 16th June, plenty of time for a birthday on the 28th, having heard nothing I emailed and was assured it was out for delivery- guess what, no tracking showing its even left wherever its supposed to be sent from. I received one response but nothing since, if this is the level of customer service I am shocked, more like customer deception. Dont bother ordering from this site unless you have months and months to wait and even then I can't even tell you that you will receive your order as I havent yet, its beyond a joke, keep well clear
Would rate zero stars if I could. Do not use the website, you have been warned. Purchased knives over 4 months ago. Nothing! And no response. Complete scam, waste of time, waste of money.

The worst experience with a company I have ever had. I ordered on the 6th of December and the product arrived 20 days later on the 26th. Upon receiving the product I realised that the seller had falsely advertised the packaging and the products themselves. It came in a plain small white box with all of the knives cramped together. After further research I found out that the merchant is just reselling products from AliExpress with their logo on them for up to 5/10x of their original price. When I asked to return them they tried to make me pay a fee for the return itself and also to pay for the delivery back to them. After contacting paypal the merchant requested for me to return the items which I did, and after over a month of back and forth, today the items were supposed to be delivered back to them. In an attempt to scam me even further the merchant refused the delivery of the return, lucky I got my money back from the dispute on PayPal. This has been by far the worst experience ever and would not in a million years recommend this business to anyone else. Stay as far as possible from them and if you do like their products you're better of buying them from AliExpress for fraction of the price.

Very poor product cheap Chinese copies. Knife bend and break so easily. Come without proper packaging and appear very cheap. Please do not waste your money like I did

Very unprofessional!!! Ordered knives beginning of December, was told it would be delivered within 10 days. Never received it and have been chasing for the refund since. It's now been 8 weeks. All I get are useless emails assuring me that when the package is returned, they will action the refund. Seeing as the package never arrived, how am I expected to return it??!!!

I ordered a Japanese knife as a gift for my partner and a knife sharpener to go with it as a knife needs this else it will ruin. I ordered together in one order and my knife turns up but not the sharpener over 11 months later still no sharpener. I contacted their customer service after a month. Their customer service blamed the post office and when I went to the post office they blamed the vender. The post office told me the address of where it had supposedly been sent ( somewhere in Belgium ) I live in France and bare in mind my knife turned up and it was the same order. Kaitsuko is a fraud as i paid for a knife sharpener and still don’t have it !! Why not send me another !!!!!! I spent hours on the email thread going back and forth wasting my time and going to the post office and thinking about and talking about this. I’m still in shock at their level of customer service and their business ethics !! Never buy from them. Kaitsuko if you're reading this …it’s never too late to redeem yourself and put this right.
