Kan was so personable and friendly and both my husband I were put at ease. We are very awkward taking photos but he made it seem so easy to be us and it definitely came out in the photos! Time and place were exactly where I requested and he communicated well with me to make it all happen. Will definitely schedule with him again whenever we're back in Japan.

Had a great experience with Kan in Japan. I wanted some professional photos with my daughter and he made the whole thing really easy from start to finish. Communication was great, he met us right near our hotel, and he was amazing with my daughter getting her smiling and comfortable for the photos. We got some really great shots and the photos were back within 3 days. Super happy with it all and would definitely recommend.

Kan was great to work with! We are from Canada, our first time visiting Japan and wanted some professional photos. Kan did our shoot in Shibuya for 1 hour. Great communication, really takes the time to understand what you are looking for. Very quick turn around for photos and the quality is great! We have over 60 photos to choose from, all in mixed poses and lighting. Highly recommend!!

He made the experience comfortable and natural, even for someone who isn’t used to being in front of the camera and can be a bit reserved at first. Working with Kan during my solo trip to Tokyo was incredible! I felt during our sessions that Kan and I had known each other for years, as we engaged in great conversation throughout our sessions. The turnaround time for the photos was quick and they came out perfect!! As a solo traveler, I wanted to have my time in Tokyo captured in photos in certain areas across Tokyo and Kan did an excellent job with recommending locations and times to meet. I dare say he’s the best photographer in Tokyo. He truly understands your taste and expectations and adapts to you — he never forces you into locations or poses that don’t feel right. He perfectly captures what you’re looking for in the most beautiful way. I absolutely loved every single one of my photos, and we were able to shoot in so many different spots.

He speaks great English, made me feel comfortable the entire time, guided me throughout the session, and has incredible patience and an amazing eye for finding the best locations.

If you’re in Tokyo, you should definitely book him. You might find cheaper options, but none with a better quality and value for money than Kan.
