A generous 2* Karrimore WTX BOOTS Cheap laces is never a good start but the vibram soles are great. The boots fit me well and are comfortable for rough walking however the footbeds came adrift about... See more

Karrimor Hot Rock cheap Chinese guaranteed to get wet feet boots!
I bought some Karrimor Hot Rock walking boots, they were a replacement for a same brand pair that had many hundreds of miles on them. Sadly I've had these 4 months and the waterproofing has failed. In research Karrimor are a failed brand, bought by sports direct and outsourced to cheap Chinese factories. This is the last pair I will ever buy!
Purchased walking shoes used only in…
Purchased walking shoes used only in spring summer for dog walking advertised as waterproof have leaked since first worn feet drenched every time after 2 months rotten and smelly poor quality and their idea of waterproof is very different to mine. Total waste of money
Chinese junk. Not good quality anymore, best avoided
Chinese junk.
Once upon a time Karimmor were a Britsh company making good products, now it's made in China it's just cheap junk.
I bought a pair of their Caracal WP trail walking shoes but had to buy size ten and a half - I'm size 9 in any other shoes.
I find the shoes to be very badly designed, the material at the rear of the heel is separate from the rest so when walking downhill or even if the heel is caught against the floor it results in this part of the heel becoming detached.
This is not acceptable in shoes that are supposed to be 'engineered for the outdoors' and haven't had much use is it?

I am sooo angry i thought karimore was a trusted brand I have NEVER left a review for anything but I felt I REALLY need to make people aware DO NOT but Karimore waterproof dynagrip ortholite boots. You will be wasting your money. My feet felt very confined in the boots and they are NOT waterproof they are worse then your average boot.My feet are soaking wet from the rain.
Daughters sandals broke a few weeks…
Daughters sandals broke a few weeks after wearing them. Sports direct state that because we have ordered them 3 months ago then this constitutes normal wear and tear
How the mighty have fallen!
How the mighty have fallen!
Loyal and always satisfied customer of many years!
Not any more though!
Last 2 pairs of hiking/walking shoes fell apart after a few months!!! Design fault?
Customer service totally useless!!
Terrible ‘waterproof’ boots
Bought waterproof boots because they’re WATERPROOF and my boots are completely drenched. We’re camping for 5 days, and I have soaking wet boots. thanks for your waterproof boots Karrimorons 🙄
karrimor hotrock 'waterproof' boots…
Bought a pair of karrimor hotrock boots for dog walking. They state they have a waterproof layer in them but this just doesn't work. Walking through wet grass not even rain, both feet are soaked within minutes.
Absolute rubbish don't waste your time and money on them.
i love their shoes
i love their shoes, they are great. genuine suede, original design, comfortable, good price, my favourite brand.
I bought my third pair of Karrimor…
I bought my third pair of Karrimor shoes from sports direct on 30th May this year, never had any problems before, but this time they started hurting me on my heel and causing a blister, felt what was like a piece of metal sticking out, took them back, the manager blamed me for breaking the support in the back of the shoe and was very rude, trying to get contact with Karrimor and sports direct about this but not having much luck. Just want some answers.
Love karrimor running tops
Love karrimor running tops, especially with Lycra in the material, sad to see their boots trainers may not be the same standard, but being a British brand, I like to be loyal and hope their other products come up to standards
I purchased a pair of approach shoes…
I purchased a pair of approach shoes under a year ago, 3 of the 4 seams holding on the toe protector have come undone. Their website has been carefully constructed so as to not allow you to contact them about anything other than a current order.
Absolute rubbish - do not buy Karrimor boots!
Bought a pair of Hot Rock boots as they were advertised as waterproof. They are - or rather were - for about a month! After that they were as waterproof as a pair of flip-flops. Walking the dog in long grass and my feet were soaked after only a few minutes. This was not rain soaked grass, just wet with morning dew. Top cap then started to separate before the sole detached from the upper - all this after less than 6 months wear.
Absolute rubbish - whatever Karrimor once were in terms of quality, they are no longer.
Avoid like the plague - they are a complete waste of money! I will never buy from them again.
Felt apart within 3 months use karrimor…
Felt apart within 3 months use karrimor and sports direct crap a waste of money!!
The hiking boots I bought for dog…
The hiking boots I bought for dog walking and school runs were an absolute waste of money.
4 months on with regular waterproof waking from a well known, respected brand and the both boots were leaking.
On inspection, I noticed that both soles were separating from the fronts of the uppers.
Sports Direct nor Karrimor were interested so went in the bin.
Such an absolute waste of money. Just don't bother.
I'm giving these boots 2 star only…
I'm giving these boots 2 star only because they ARE comfortable and the customer service was good after my complaint, BUT. My first pair of boots only lasted about nine months before they failed to be waterproof anymore. I was really disappointed because they are incredibly comfortable and never caused any blisters. I complained and was given a brand new pair of boots within a week so I can't fault the Customer Service. BUT, my new pair have now ceased to be waterproof after barely 5 months which is beyond acceptable. I'm now going to try and seal them myself and am now a reluctant ex-customer!
Shocking product name now
Bought a pair of walking shoes which granted were not expensive but given that Karrimor was a name that I knew and associated with reasonably decent gear I opted to buy.
I had them a just over a week and slipped down a set of stairs badly bruising my back. I thought it was just me but a few days later I slipped again and managed to recover.
The issue was clearly the sole and the composition being so hard that there was very poor friction between sole and surface. Easily proved by just how easily I could slide in them. Seriously seriously dangerous.
It took a lot of being very careful when walking to break the poor surface down to provide some friction. During this time the sole came away from the shoe.
I will never buy a Karrimor product ever again -
Taking money falsely, you should be taken to court for damages. Sub standard equipment that is not fit for purpose.
Karrimor Cougar 70+10 rucksack
Purchased a Karrimor Cougar 70+10 rucksack for Xmas 2021. It's been used by my daughter for the sum total of 6 nights on her Duke of Ed expeditions. The inner lining is all ripped, as is the top hood that covers the sack; it's unusable. Customer service has told me this "reasonable wear and tear" and if I want to pursue the complaint I need to go to an independent company to inspect the product and have their assessment sent to them on headed paper. DO NOT BUY KARRIMOR PRODUCTS. They went bust in 2003 and Sports Direct are peddling cheap products not fit for purpose, under what was, a trusted household name. A waste of £80 and I am fuming at their lame customer service.
Purchased verdi low walking shoes
Purchased verdi low walking shoes, 16 days later the right shoe started to separate/split from the sole. Very unhappy with the product, I did not even wear them the 16 days, I only wore them like five times to make sure they will be comfortable when I actually need to wear them on my sight seeing vacation. Not cool
I agree with the previous reviews
I agree with the previous reviews. Karrimor is no longer the good quality it used to be, now it's simply cheap rubbish. Back in 2020 I bought a Karrimor Urban 30 rucksack. After a few months of use the inside lining of one of the pockets had frayed and had become detached from the rucksack. I had bought it online from Sports Direct and asked for the money back. Never seen a penny.
