A generous 2* Karrimore WTX BOOTS Cheap laces is never a good start but the vibram soles are great. The boots fit me well and are comfortable for rough walking however the footbeds came adrift about... See more

Karrimor won't accept a faulty coat back within a year.
Bought a Karrimor coat from an sports direct and returned it shortly after I bought it because all the stuffing was coming through the outer material. They took it back and refunded me and I actually bought another one hoping it was a one off. I bought the second one in march and then didn't really wear it much until the weather got really cold again around October time. Now the second coat has done the same thing. So this is after maybe 4 months wear. The stuffing is coming through and goes all bally and white. It looks so bad. Sports direct where I bought the coat have said they can't refund because it only has a 6 month warranty so they said to contact karrimor. I did that and they are not willing to help at all. Even if it was bought within 28 days they won't accept it because it's not directly from their website. I think it shouldn't matter where I bought it. It's their product and they are responsible. Wouldn't recommend their coats if you want anything lasting beyond 6 months. Apparently that's all the time you should get out of a 100 pounds coat! Will definitely not be buying from them again and will be advising colleagues not to buy either. I work outdoors a lot and need something more reliable.
Fell to pieces
Bought a pair for occaions use around our local nature reserve. Internal lining split in both boots within a few months of occasional use, ofollowed by one of the soles becoming detached, and the leather constantly went mouldy obviously being inadaquately tanned. Went in the bin after 6 months, what a waste of raw material, not what they use do be
Poor quality, not waterproof
I bought a pair of 'waterproof ' Helix mid boots. One of the cleats snapped, they're plastic and one snapped off altogether. They are comfy with an ortholite insole and vibram soles, which I love. They are not waterproof, the trim has deep scuffs in it and the overall quality is poor. They weren't cheap, but my advice, invest in gortex and a better brand
Appalling product and service
Having previously loved my Karrimor walking boots I purchased an identical pair.
A completely different product despite looking the same.
They leak and are wearing out after just 3 months.
DO NOT BUY KARRIMOR WALKING BOOTS. APPALLING QUALITY!
Awful
Bought a pair of walking boots from a charity shop. They had never been worn and were brand new with tags still attached. I wore them once and the soles fell off both boots. Contacted customer services and was told they couldn't do anything - I appreciate they were bought from a charity shop but I would have thought a quality might have at least been raised and not just brushed me off saying they couldn't assist in any way.
boots leaked within 3 months
boots leaked within 3 months, failed after 6. Not worn them since the summer then wore yesterday to find the sole coming away on the right boot. Took them back to Sports direct to be told they didn't expect them to last for 6 months. Should not be sold as walking boots - surely sales description act applies??
Another Weathertite total fail
If you've already read my previous review, you may be wondering why I would have purchased another pair of Karrimor boots. I had actually been using a perfectly good pair of actually waterproof boots from another supplier for my daily use, but in June of last year (2023) my wife and I visited Australia for 6 weeks. Because of biohazards, Oz do not like you to bring in used footwear, particularly if you come from a farming area. I therefore bought a pair of Ksb Aspen 6 "Weathertite" boots specifically for this trip, not expecting much wet weather. I wore the boots maybe 50% of the time whilst out and about in Oz. Bearing in mind that I am 70, we didn't cover a vast amount of ground. On our return to the UK, the boots were relegated to spare status, and were worn maybe once a month by my son when visiting. Nonetheless, the waterproofing failed on first encounter with UK rainfall. Fast forward to October this year, when I elected to take these boots along on a one week holiday on the Gower. On the second day of our holiday, whilst walking dogs on the beach, the sole of one boot became almost completely detached, rendering them useless. The boots were not ever immersed in fresh or saltwater, have no visible signs of wear on the soles, and yet despite such very limited use have failed utterly.
Shoes don't feel tested / developed.
Got some for £85, seemed good except they crushed the trunk of my big toes, causing a LOT of pain especially when sitting. Swapped out for a £40 pair which are ok, but absolutely not breathable as advertised.
I live from a van and like to have one pair of shoes that can handle most situations ok. Key features are waterproof and breathable. This is my second pair of Karrimoors and I don't think they deserve another chance. My feet are sweating all day, every day. It's really unpleasant. All I want is a pair of waterproof shoes that don't turn my feet into saunas.
I bought 2 pairs of Bodmin mid iv…
I bought 2 pairs of Bodmin mid iv walking boots never again absolute rubbish the metal studs that hold the laces protrudes inside boot, after walking a couple of miles found that the back of the stud had cut the top of my foot and then had to get home again since I have had to have plasters on top of my foot as to stop the rubbing while wearing other shoes, the company would not take the boots back because it was past their 30days, but having bought these boots early to prepare for winter is pathetic, I have pairs of boots 1still in box and 1pair worn once, don't buy these badly made items.
CHARGED US DOUBLE
ORDERED SOME WALKING SHOES FROM THEIR WEBSITE £90. WHEN THEY CAME THEY HAD A HALF PRICE STICKER ON THEM - MARKING THEM DOWN TO £45. WE COMPLAINED BUT THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED. CUSTOMER SERVICE BASICALLY SAID - THAT'S THE PRICE (PLUS POSTAGE OF COURSE), IF YOU DON'Y LIKE IT, RETURN THEM

We bought karimor trainers 2 weeks for our daughter as never had a problem in the past.
Within a week the sole was coming away from the bottom a seem completely useless.
Please avoid like the plauge
Terrible customer service
Bought a pair of boots that were described as leather, but when I looked it up on line are actually Nubuck. This requires slightly different treatment for the care and maintenance, but there were no instructions with the boots. I sent an email to the only contact address on the website. Eventually, they replied and said they had no information and I was to contact the manufacturer. Er, I thought Karrimor were the manufactuer? How am I supposed to find out what factory in China provided this particular pair of boots?
Karrimor gtx Cheetahs used to be my go…
Karrimor gtx Cheetahs used to be my go to boot but not now.
The boot has really went down hill weak glue for one.
My last pair split at the seems after a few months I thought , OK maybe I've been to harsh on them as the pair before lasted 2 years. The next pair I've bought lasted two hikes and the soles are coming off the bottom.
Not impressed at all .
Garbage, just looks
Weak fabric, weak glue, really bad performance. Do not recommend for work or outdoor, they will fail.
Not reliable at all.
Have a karrimor 75 ltr rucksack for…
Have a karrimor 75 ltr rucksack for years and used all over the world without any problems . Recently my friend and I purchased a karrimor daypack at £42 from sports direct. Within a couple of walks both out packs were breaking apart. Won't touch karrimor again.
Karrimor WTX waterproof trousers
Karrimor WTX waterproof trousers. Second, yes second time I put them on, the leg zip jammed into the fabric. Tried to unzip and the metal zip snapped. Total useless. Cheap materials. To snap a metal zip fastener, by just pulling it shows the cheap quality.
Absolutely terrible pair of boots
Absolutely terrible pair of boots. I've had a few walking boots in the past and sweat was always an issue even with any advertised "breathable fabric" like the Karrimor "mount IX" (now renamed as just "mid mens boots") boots do.
I bought them in February of this year so I know that the sole has been worn enough to get rid of any factory residue that may make them slippy with no traction. Yet here we are. I wore these today to go through a town centre on a particularly soggy day with on and off rain. I ended up slipping as the boot had absolutely no traction on the wet floor (even though the floor was a gritty pavement made to keep people stable) and badly hurting my bottom to the point of me struggling to walk through the pain (I'm 23 for crying out loud). It's a joke to call these boots waterproof! They have no choice BUT to be waterproof as they only have grip in dry weather!
There's no way to complain on their site (go figure) and it has left me appalled how they can call that a "walking" boot if it can't even get through a town. I gave the few slips a benefit of the doubt when they were new but NOT ANYMORE! CHEAP CHINESE MADE TAT OWNED BY SPORTSDIRECT! No wonder they don't respect their product anymore. Another reputable name ruined by outsourcing and cost-cutting. I'll go British made next time! Karrimor is done for! They're a useless mid-price manufacturer coasting on the legacy of a once high quality brand.
TLDR; NEVER BUY BOOTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Edit: I also forgot to add that when I first bought them the comfort was terrible and I could feel every little bit of the floor when walking in them so I had to add comfort insoles!
Don't buy karrimor shoes,I bought them…
Don't buy karrimor shoes,I bought them 2 days ago and they are breaking apart and are the worst brand ever, I only wore the shoes for an hour and all its stitching came off.
Karrimor walking shoes unfit for purpose
Having worn Karrimor walking shoes for over 15 years.
I took a new pair on holiday to Cyprus and only walked a few miles on the walk way now the right and one has split around the bottom.
The last 3 pairs have only lasted a few months, while the previous pairs lasted years. I have noticed that they are mow manufactured in China to a very low standard.
I guess that what happens when Sports Direct make there ranges in sweet shops in China.
Very poor quality
My walking boots fell apart within a few weeks, I'd only worn them maybe six times, I've spent more time gluing the soles back onto both boots than wearing, I will never waste my money on another pair, the leather peeled away on the last ones I had, I thought it might have been just that design but reading the reviews on Trustpilot I can see it's a common theme.
