This has honestly been the worst…

This has honestly been the worst experience with a food place me and my partner have ever had. After having both consumed Kaspa’s we had to go to A&E with extreme food poisoning. I would not recommend if you don’t want to throw up non stop or **** yourself.

Just the worst customer service

Just the worst customer service. Went for a treat and wish I hadn’t bothered. Tables were dirty and no one bothered to give us a menu so we got our own.
Our order was thrown on the table, of course this was wrong. Grudgingly this was replaced for the correct order which was delivered in a similar manner to the first, without a word.
Shocking customer service - honestly, don’t bother!

I visited Kaspa's Desserts today at the…

I visited Kaspa's Desserts today at the Longwell Green branch and had a really disappointing experience.

I ordered a slice of blueberry cake, which was brought over warmed. Cake like that shouldn’t be served warm, so I sent it back and asked for it not to be heated. There was no apology at all. When the replacement arrived, it was dry, stale, and so hard I could barely cut through it, they obviously had heated it up to try and disguise the fact it was stale.

I asked the staff how long the cake had been on display, and was told it had been there for three days, which is honestly shocking and raises concerns about food quality and safety.

Although I did get a refund in the end, the staff were very rude throughout and didn’t offer any apology for the situation.

Overall, pretty shocking

THEY DON’T GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PAY FOR DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

DO NOT USE THEM! I ordered again and they missed things out from my order and still charged me and didn’t refund me the £25. Don’t be a fool and order from them you won’t get what you paid for and you won’t get your money back. Complete money grabbing scam artists with no morals or care for their customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE on the 20th

Stale Food and a Chaotic Atmosphere

I visited Kaspar’s on St Albans Road in Watford with friends, and unfortunately the experience was deeply disappointing. Two of us ordered the cinnamon buns, which were so hard they couldn’t even be cut with a knife and were essentially inedible. As it was our first time there, we weren’t sure if this was normal, but after speaking with friends the next day, it became clear they were likely stale.

The atmosphere didn’t help either. Two families allowed their children to run around the restaurant screaming, with no intervention from the parents, which made it impossible to relax or enjoy the visit.

Overall, the combination of poor‑quality food and an unpleasant environment made the visit dreadful. I cannot recommend Kaspar’s and would not return. It a complete waste of time and money.

Post review comment:
I contacted Kaspar’s Head Office and found their response wholly inadequate. They provided no satisfactory resolution, and their handling of the matter was both ineffective and unprofessional. If the Head Office operates with such a lack of competence, it is unsurprising that their outlets reflect the same poor standards.

Save your money and avoid Kaspar’s.

Staff do not know how to smile with…

Staff do not know how to smile with zero customer services, one order was wrong and had a hair within it! No apology just changed it with no comments. If you want to go somewhere that is overpriced with no happy atmosphere then this is the place, at one point the staff members never smiled called on what I can only believe to be the manager out of an office, same lack lustre sour faced approach.no wonder it was so quiet which doesn’t explain any of the Iong wait times! Was considering here for my sons birthday, not now as it has such a sad unhappy vibe.

Disgusting toilet in Loughton branch…

Disgusting toilet in Loughton branch which looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Pointed this out to the only member of staff and was told ‘it’s not that bad’. We left before finishing our desserts as too nauseated. No joy from customer service. What happened to health and safety ! The place poses a risk of disease especially to children. Check out toilet before ordering anything in there. Never again !

Rank service and rank food!

After hearing good reviews and never having been before, I went, and for what we got, it wasn't worth the price! I expected my waffle to be hot! The whole place was dark and dingy, and the atmosphere, even the staff, was as cold as my waffle. £2.45 for a can of Pepsi is also a monstrosity. I definitely won't be returning and won't be recommending ita

Staff were welcoming but food horrific

Staff were welcoming and we were approached as we walked in. Polite and courteous staff. It seems like it needs a little update as a few of the seats had black masking tape covering holes and wear and tear. I'm sure you could have got chairs re-covered or even use pink masking tape. At first glance it all looks nice and modern/pink themed like a American diner, but as you spend time in there you see that it's not in the best condition, even the seat at the door that you wait on has masking tape covering holes. One of the main chairs in a booth type situation has masking tape the size of a cushion right in the middle and I'm sure that can't have been comfortable to sit on. Apart from that it's in good condition considering the shops been there for quite a few years but appearance is everything and if I had come here for the first time I would have turned away, and if realised it was that run down I probably wouldn't even have gone in.
Very very disappointed with the food we bought. I have not been for a while, so thought we would go as it's usually really nice.
First of all we had the Bueno crêpe with "Bueno ice cream" apparently. First off I'm not too sure that the crêpe was freshly made, it was under cooked, rubbery and tasteless. And I mean no taste at all. And for £9.95 that's a huge waste of money. Plus it was quite small compared to some others we have had.
The "chocolate sauce" had a bitter taste to it, an after taste.
Now the Kinder Bueno ice cream was rank. It had a rancid taste like it was gone off. We all like Bueno but this was horrific. So disgusting. So disappointing to have spent our money and time and we get home to this nasty stuff.
Even to look at the crêpe you can see how pale it is. You can see it's not cooked properly. It needs holiday for a sun tan as to how pale it was. Very upset that she has to throw this away and has wasted her money and time.
I also bought a plain waffle and it was floppy, rubbery and very undercooked. I understand you were busy but that doesn't take away from your waffle maker has a timer, I'm sure you would AGAIN have seen that it was undercooked. I'm now going to have to re-cook over my waffle. As this is not cooked properly either. I tried to taste some of the edge and it had a bitter taste. We were not able to eat ANYTHING that we purchased.

gift card scam

I received a gift card for £15 from a friend. I visited the Soho store in person to use the gift card when it was still active, and was told I can only use it online on their app. I tried using it on the app without success. I had to visit the store again who advised me to contact the main office. I emailed them and explained the situation and that I have been trying for a month to use this card. After exchanging 6 emails with them, I was informed that my physical gift card has an 8 digit code on the back, which does not work on the Kaspa's app as it is different from their digital vouchers. I was also told that they will forward my request to the branch and request that someone from their management team get in contact with you. It's now been over a month since I first messaged them to let them know of the impossible system they have in place with gift cards. It seems that they are using the delay tactic to get me to give up chasing and I will most likely lose my £15.
