Katateeb Online (كتاتيب أونلاين) is an online Quran and Arabic school for children, teenagers and women. Every lesson is one-to-one on Zoom — never a group class — and every teacher is a certified female teacher with an ijazah in Quran recitation. We teach four programmes: Quran memorisation and recitation for children and teens, with separate tracks for ages 4–8 and 9–15; Quran memorisation for women; Noorani Qaida for children, covering Arabic letters, sounds and correct pronunciation from the very first lesson; and Arabic language for children and beginners. Lessons are 30 minutes and run every day of the week, from 7:00am to midnight Makkah time, so families in the Gulf, Europe, North America and Australia can find a slot that fits around school and work. Booking and scheduling happen on WhatsApp: you send one message, we agree a time, and the lesson starts. There is no call centre to wait on and no registration fee. After the first lesson, parents receive a written level assessment on WhatsApp, and after that a written weekly progress report explaining what the student covered, what improved and what comes next. Teaching is bilingual — our teachers work in Arabic and in English — so children raised outside the Arab world can follow the lesson without needing translation at home.
