Katchakid Reviews

The entire process from quote to install was easy and quick. Santos was extremely professional throughout the install and took time to answer our questions and show us how to operate our net and cover. The peace of mind knowing our pool is safe is worth it.

Great job! Took less than 4 hours to custom make the cover and install lt.

Katchakid did a great job providing a custom pool cover to fit my kidney shaped pool with spa. From the moment I contacted company I had great communication with salesperson and then the installer, Santos came, and custom sewed a cover on site. It fits perfectly around the pool, both my husband and I were amazed at how proficient Santos was with the sewing machine and installing the brass connectors that go into the patio. He then shows you how to take cover off and put back on. There's a handy rolling system that cover fits onto for storage. It is definitely worth the price.

Carlos did a great job installing my pool leaf cover.
He was very professional and took his time explaining the whole process of installing and then how to remove the cover.

Outstanding product, Dave Sims (Southern California area) provided the necessary information/costs associated with Katchakid in a timely matter. Installer Rogelio is a professional in every aspect from start to finish product. His workmanship and precision was definitely noticed. My exposure from Dave Sims to Vivian (Houston) to Regelio was extremely positive and would recommend Katchakid to everyone that is considering a safety pool/pond cover. What a peace of mind!!!!!

Carlos and Corey did a great job. Very kind respectful and courteous.
The leaf cover looks amazing.

Professional and communication was great. Informational skills on point. Employees were respectful and friendly. Would definitely refer this company as well as their pool cover product to cover your pool to keep out debris.

As a customer, what is important to me when dealing with any contractor is prompt, courteous and informative return texts and calls. Joe ALWAYS returned my calls and texts almost immediately to answer my questions and provide updates. The product does take a while to initially arrive, but the time frame Joe provides is pretty spot on. I ordered my leaf cover in May, Joe came out in mid Aug to measure, and I had the cover returned to me and installed early Sept. Don't be turned off by the long turn around time. The product is high quality and the service is unmatched.

We are extremely happy with our new leaf cover! Santos did an amazing job with the installation. We highly recommend Katchakid!

Excellent installation and training service for this important and effective pool security product. The installer (Santos) work efficiently and wrapped up the whole project in 6 hours. This included the leaf mesh cover as well as the security net. I had already installed a KatchaKid on another pool 17 years ago, for our youngest children. This one is for the grandchildren, and also peace of mind when we are out of town.

I had a no-frills 10-minute quote from Bob 6/23. I wasn’t blown away but I was quoted a 10 day turnaround timeframe, so I’m thinking this will be done around 7/3, and I really needed the sun coverage ASAP so algae wouldn’t ruin the rest of the swim season. Long story short, after 2 same day cancellations, my cover wasn’t actually completely installed until 8/13…. And it still doesn’t give my pool enough sun coverage to stop the algae. So now I have a $1700 shade sail for a pool cover that’s really only good for keeping out leaves.. just leaves, it lets dirt pass through easily. I will say that the 2 guys that came out to do the actual installation were really great. They were nice and very efficient!
If you actually need sun coverage- this is not the cover for you. If you don’t want 2 huge Styrofoam balls to hold up your cover forever in the middle of the pool… you’re going to need to go with another company ☹
If you want a company that values your time… keep moving.

I just received my Katchaleaf pool cover. So far so good. The installers explained the device on how to lay out and remove from the pool. Great team.

We had the Katchaleaf cover installed for our pool. It fits perfectly and is easy to take off (5 min) and to put back on (10-15 min). The Kaychakid cover uses the same technology, so I’m sure it would be the same results. We like the product so much that we are going to have the install the Katchaleaf cover over our pool equipment area.
The company itself and the employees are the best we have dealt with since moving to Arizona. Bob is always available when you call and provides whatever info you need quickly. The crew that comes out have been working for Katchakid for 18 years and they know what they are doing. Total time to measure, install inserts in decking (day 1) and then put the cover on and show how to put on and take off was less than 3 hours.
If you are looking for a pool cover for safety or to keep leaves etc out of your pool , I highly recommend Kaychakid.

Friendly and knowledgeable sales and installation staff - provided a quick price quote and explained product and installation process. The installer showed up on time, did quality work, and demonstrated how to place and remove the cover.

Excellent customer service!! Entire process from initial contact to delivery and installation was positive and hassle free. Carlos did a fantastic job with the on site installation. He was prompt and professional. Explained how to use and gave us tips on removing the pool cover. He even offered to help us put the cover in storage until we were ready to cover our pool. Highly recommend this company!

The two phase install went off without a hitch. Our final installer, Colton was a pleasure to work with. He made sure I could put on and take off the cover. Real gentleman too. I’d recommend KatchaKid to family, & both Colton and the first phase tech as well.

Was professional and returned all my calls. Installation was perfect and pool looks great with blue cover. Pool stays clean and removable pool cover is easy to remove. Good investment

The installer showed up on time, made quick work of the installation, and gave me a demonstration. It could not have been easier. And the debris cover works really well and cost way less than we had budgeted for a pool cover.

Santos came out and did a great job installing the pool cover! He is a one-man team! He had the job finished in the time he told us it would take and explains everything! Five stars from us!

Your company installed a custom pool cover for us yesterday, your installer Santos was on time, very polite and very good at his job. He did an excellent job and pool cover looks great. He explained how everything works and took the time to show my wife and I how attach and unattached the cover and roll it up for storage. Thanks Russ Evans
