No refund of deposit- caution!
I entered into a franchise agreement with Kayakomat and paid an initial deposit. According to the contract, this deposit must be refunded if certain conditions are not met. In my case, no suitable location could be found, which means the conditions for a refund were clearly fulfilled.
Despite this, the deposit has not been returned to date. Multiple attempts to contact the company and resolve the matter amicably were unsuccessful or went unanswered. From my experience, Kayakomat has failed to honor its contractual obligations.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise caution before paying any deposit to this company.
