Dishonest company Stay away. Literally go anywhere else.
I hope every lifetime member comes on here to give you a 1 star review. I keep reading your replies stating only a small number are affected. If this is true then you guys will be fine when your pilot score tanks due to you revoking all of the services we all have been using since the beginning. Such a scam. I implore all who read this to avoid this company. You can literally get better service anywhere else for less money now a days.

Had the lifetime subscription since…
Had the lifetime subscription since 2021. On 9/26, Keepsolid locked me out of features that **I already had access to**. Both the torrent and "Movies & TV" servers became locked under a $20/yr subscription. To be perfectly clear, **I had access to these before their update**. They are retroactively removing access from a lifetime subscription product.

I am absolutely furious
I am absolutely furious and deeply disappointed by what KeepSolid is now doing to Lifetime subscribers like me.
I purchased, one of the first, a Lifetime VPN subscription from you in good faith, just as I have done with your services in the past, precisely because it was presented as a LIFETIME subscription. That means I paid upfront with the clear expectation that the service and its included features would remain available without being turned into a recurring payment scheme years later.
And now I am discovering that some VPN servers that I have ALWAYS been able to use as part of my Lifetime subscription are suddenly being placed behind an additional paywall, requiring yet another payment per year or per month.
Are you seriously expecting Lifetime customers to accept this?
These are NOT newly added servers that I am asking to access. These are servers that were already available and usable under the Lifetime subscription I purchased. You cannot simply decide years later that previously included functionality should now require an additional subscription and expect customers to quietly pay again.
This is incredibly disappointing, but above all, it is unacceptable.
When a customer purchases a Lifetime plan, they do so based on the conditions and functionality offered at the time of purchase. Calling something "Lifetime" and then progressively moving parts of the service behind new recurring fees completely undermines the meaning of that purchase.
Frankly, this looks less like an honest change to the service and more like an attempt to extract additional recurring revenue from customers who have already paid for lifetime access.
I want a clear and precise explanation of:
Why these servers, which were previously available to Lifetime subscribers, are now subject to an additional charge.
When this change was introduced.
Why customers who already purchased Lifetime access are being asked to pay again for functionality they previously had.
What exact contractual or subscription terms you believe give you the right to make this change.
I am not interested in a generic response telling me that these are now part of a "premium" or "special" server category. That does not answer the fundamental issue: these servers were already available to me under the Lifetime subscription I paid for.
I expect KeepSolid to take responsibility for this decision and provide a proper solution for existing Lifetime customers.
Otherwise, you should be aware that I will have absolutely no hesitation in publicly documenting this situation, including the fact that KeepSolid is asking existing Lifetime customers to pay an additional recurring fee for servers that were previously included in the service they already purchased. I will also seriously reconsider ever purchasing, recommending, or trusting another KeepSolid product in the future.
I did not purchase a "Lifetime" subscription so that years later I could be told that parts of the service I was already using now require another subscription.
This is not what I paid for, and I expect you to address this accordingly.
I am waiting for a serious explanation and, more importantly, a concrete resolution.

Moving on
When I purchased my Lifetime plan, the features I am now being asked to pay for through Loyalty Plus were already available to me and were part of my normal use of the service. I made a one-time payment with the expectation of long-term access, not that features could later be removed and placed behind an additional subscription.

Do not spend a DIME with these thieves
Do not spend a DIME with these scumbags. They just took away what we paid for with a lifetime subscription. Apparently, nobody told them you don't take away features we already paid for. Now they're behind a paywall as these lowlifes go after more money from you. We purchased a lifetime subscription based on what was offered. THAT'S WHAT YOU AGREED WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. PERIOD. What an HONEST company would've done is grandfather their longtime customers. If you want to now tier your offerings then do it with new customers. That's what a reputable company would do. These people are thieves. They're not trustworthy.
Uodate: already wasted time "discussing" their money grab. Same bs as here. And it is bs. We bought and for a specific service because it had specific features. Because these scumbags now want more money is not justification, and they know nobody reads their bs agreements. If they were an honest company, they'd grandfather people who already bought lifetime plans. Instead, they're Millennial/Genz techbro scumbags who suckered people into helping them grow. They should be put out of business.

Not impressed.
I was very happy with this company until the latest update. With this update, Keepsolid introduced a Loyalty Plus Plan where they have removed functionality unless I pay a monthly fee. I don't understand why they call it Loyalty Plus, this is just a way to get extra money with no extra benefit. My advise is do not upgrade your current version as you will be disadvantaged. Use the old version for as long as you can.

Do not buy anything from this company
Do not buy anything from this company, I purchased a lifetime plan some years back and now they want more money to access what I have been using already, they are claiming its new servers but its not. These guys cannot be trusted so do not buy, they change the goal posts. Disgusting business! Their reply is slick and makes out your getting something but the reality is they have taken media streaming and torrents away from us and now expect us to pay for them. Effectively they have broken their lifetime promise. They wanted our lifetime subscription money when they were starting up but now they think we are cash cows! Give it a few months and the lifetime subscription will be allowed one slow location. They are just trying to get us to leave so they can replace with monthly subscribers. SHAME ON YOU.

Bad Business Model - Version 9.7.1
A number of years ago I purchased the Lifetime subscription to VPN Unlimited access their services. After recently updating to version 9.7.1 I have now been locked out of some servers unless I pay new yearly subscription price of $19.99 in order to access the same servers I previously had access to before I upgraded the software.
Because of this I have now uninstalled their software and have decided to move to another VPN provider where I have paid for their yearly subscription model because I won't support a company that changes the T&Cs after I had already paid for the Lifetime subscription where I expected to keep the same service.
Good luck to those who do decide to use this companies services, you will need to be checking every day that they haven't changed their services to extort more money out of you.

VPN Unlimited unauthorized autorenewal? How to force a credit card refund
🚨 Ripped off by VPNUnlimited? Here is how to get your money back.
The product itself functions no better than other options, worse than some, and given their sketchy billing practices, I'm wary of entrusting them with vital Internet security.
KeepSolid operates a deceptive billing model, failing to warn of impending autorenewal (as is required by charge card regulations), claiming that they sent it, and then ghosting customers when asked for proof of advance warning. If you are fighting an unauthorized renewal, do not waste time arguing with their front-line support. They will hide behind an unearned refund policy. This is exactly what they did to me and to other reviewers on here.
Instead, bypass them and trigger a formal credit card dispute. I did exactly this and won a permanent reversal of my funds.
How to fight back and win:
The Legal Framework: File your credit card dispute under the Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z) for unauthorized recurring transactions. Do not file it as standard fraud. Choose the track for "Canceled Subscription / Recurring Charges Still Billing."
The Magic Words Demand: Send a final support ticket to KeepSolid demanding they produce the RFC 5322 Message-IDs and outbound SMTP server logs proving they actually dispatched the pre-renewal notice to the internet.
The Technical Confession: KeepSolid’s support team openly admits in writing that they "do not retain or have access to email server headers once a message is sent."
The Trap: Under Visa Core Regulations, a merchant cannot legally defend a recurring charge challenge without providing verifiable proof of external internet transmission. Their written admission that they do not possess these logs is an automatic loss for them.
Take a screenshot of their admission that they lack server headers, upload it directly to your bank's dispute portal, and watch your provisional credit become permanent.
Or . . . they could read this, and change to comply with the regulations, rather than argue with smooth PR scripts. But then, customers would get a warning about their surprise autorenewal.
Update: The merchant’s response below is standard corporate damage control. They claim a missing technical log doesn't matter, yet Capital One permanently ruled in my favor because KeepSolid could not produce that exact technical proof.
Notice that even in this formal response, they still cannot provide the Message-IDs or SMTP logs. They want you to email their support desk so they can try to talk you out of filing a chargeback. Don't fall for the corporate double-speak. Follow the blueprint above, bypass their support desk entirely, and let your bank pull your money back just like I did.
EDIT: (In response to your excuses)
Regulation Z includes a Visa requirement that you must notify customers before auto-renewal and you must retain specific evidence of having notified them. If you do not, as you do not, the autorenewal charge will be summarily reversed if disputed properly.
I made repeated efforts to resolve this with your customer support. Vlad just told me they would cancel my autorenewal, but that there was nothing that could be done about the current charge. Visa disagreed and permanently reversed the charges.
Edit: Keep Solid's response is PR spin. I made repeated efforts to resolve this prior to initiating a chargeback dispute. Their mumbo jumbo posted in response here is nonsense. Visa agreed and promptly reversed the charge in full, but be sure to follow the steps as outlined. If you dispute it correctly, it can be reversed.
