I can see that you have left two reviews in quick succession about us on here and google followed by a very unflattering review on social media, I wanted to reach out to you with a few points.
I'm sorry you found the meals to be too small, the meal plan is primarily used for weight loss/health improvements and I can confirm the portion sizes correlate to the nutritional values advised on the menu, the photographs of our food on the website are photos showing the actual portion sizes. I personally followed the plan for weight loss, I lost 7 stone over the course of a year and after the initial 2 weeks getting into ketosis, I was full and satisfied from everything consumed within the plan. We keep the calorie and carbs lower so that customers can still enjoy coffees with cream, low carb snacks or cakes without going over their daily carbohydrate limit whilst still losing weight. As we are aware, you are a fitness/ cycling enthusiast, probably with a higher calorific need than what we advise and offer, so our meals probably do not provide the calorific needs you require. Of course, we welcome feedback so will take your comments onboard regarding the portion sizes and labelling.
The meals were delivered on the 30th... not the 31st as you state. We advise storing days 1 & 2 in the fridge and days 3 onwards in the freezer, defrosting prior to consumption. I'm not really sure where else can advise this on the website, as it's currently mentioned on the meal plan description, FAQ page, on the confirmation email along with the storage & reheating instructions (something you were advised of via email, your review makes out that we just replied - just freeze it! Our response advised the best before is correct and it clearly states the meals come with a 2/3 day shelf life). If you have any suggestions as to how we'd be able to create fresh meals to last a 7 day duration without the use of any additives or preservatives, please do let us know. We follow the guidelines for the food standard agency, our meals are created and finalised on Fridays, shipped on Saturdays for delivery on Sundays, which allows 4 days since the date they are created. As much as we'd love to offer plans to be stored how customers choose, unfortunately it is impossible to create fresh meals to last the duration of 9 days without the use of extenders or preservatives which makes the food ultra processed - not something we are interested in offering.
To be quite honest, we are extremely disappointed that you decided to leave two negative reviews about us without reaching out to us first to discuss any issues you had. You initially reached out to us for a discount code, which we don't really offer but agreed to with you, so that fact that you have chosen to proceed in this manner and upload pictures of our meals onto social media in a derogatory way to mock the company, especially for someone who reached out as they wanted to work with us in partnership - very poor.
As a customer, naturally you are entitled to have your opinion and leave a review - however as you contacted us to collaborate, I would expect at the least for you to reach out to us and advise that you don't think the collaboration would work or that you are not going to proceed. If only you had shown the same degree of effort in contacting us to advise you were unhappy as you did in trying to obtain a discount code from us.
In future, I recommend that should you have an issue with a company, you contact them first to give them a chance to rectify/address any issues before leaving a review.
