Beyond disappointed

This review is about my experience ordering additional parts for a piece of furniture I bought three years ago, not about the quality of their furniture.

On January 11, 2026 I contacted Kewlox about how to order an additional shelf for a bookshelf I purchased about three years ago as this is not a spare part I could order on their website. I wanted to add it to the new order I was about to place. On January 13, I sent another message asking for a response to the original message. On January 14, I placed my order because I needed the furniture around mid February. On Jan. 19 I received an invoice email from Kewlox that said "N'hésitez pas à nous contacter si vous avez des questions" and I responded on Jan. 21 asking again how to order the parts I needed hoping that someone will help me this way. Still no response. I followed up one more time on Feb. 8 asking for a response to my original message. Someone named Alain Vaneyken responded only that "In response to your enquiry, yes, it is possible to order spare parts." When I asked how to do this, I received no response, and yet my ticket was marked as "solved."

This is shocking and incomprehensible for a company whose main selling point is sustainable furniture that adapts with you and which encourages you to contact its team to order the parts that cannot be ordered online. Know that you're not buying "a customisable and configurable system that adapts to your style and taste" because no one will help you customize your Kewlox furniture when you need it.

I would expect such unprofessional and amateurish service from some Chinese scam, not from a serious European company that markets itself as "an icon of Belgian design." Shameful. I have recommended Kewlox in the past and now I really regret doing so.
