I've had a Keylite Roof Lantern installed within the last year, and I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the product. From the moment it was installed, I noticed a significant draft coming through the frame, even on still, calm days. The constant chill it brings into the room during colder months is uncomfortable and we have to have blanket over our legs to keep warm. Not really acceptable in an A1 BER rated home!!!!

After reaching out to Keylite for assistance, I was shocked to learn that they actually consider this "normal." Apparently, their roof lanterns are designed not to be airtight.. This response is completely unacceptable.
For the price I paid, I expected a high-quality, energy-efficient product that would keep my home comfortable. Instead, I’m left with a drafty, poorly designed product that is making my space uncomfortable and more expensive to heat. I would not recommend Keylite Roof Lantern to anyone looking for a reliable, draft-free solution. Save your money and look elsewhere for better options.

We have 3 motorised skylights in our house and, in the 4 months since their installation, 2 have broken with snapped metal brackets suggesting a design fault. Pretty poor given their products are not cheap.

Errors made in delivery but quickly remedied by Keylite Blinds.
The blind delivered is a replacement for a 10 year old blind that has started to wear. It is just as ordered, and we are pleased with it.
The link to the delivery tracking service failed but I found an alternative way to access tracking on the delivery service website. The blind was initially returned to Keylite Blinds and not delivered to us. After a phone call to the company, this issue was quickly resolved and the blind delivered by express service. When solving this issue, the company was excellent, but it should not have arisen.

But not if your single handed and 3 mtres up a ladder!
I am electrician with over 40 years experience and having fitted 4 blinds onto key light UPVC windows, I am amazed how they can that say easy fit on thier web site.
Tensioners drop out of the side rail after sliding them in as per instructions.
Fixing screws difficult to srew into plastic frame without a pilot hole.
To be fair though I found their technical suport and customer sevice staff very helpfull as I had to return 2
faulty blinds.

Great blind easy to order

Got help ordering to ensure the correct blind size was being ordered. Processed really quickly and dispatched immediately. Great service all round !

I recently needed to use Kelite Roof Windows' warranty service for a faulty loft hatch. The hinges had pulled through, and while it was questionable whether this was due to the builder's installation or a weakness in the product itself, Kelite's response was exceptional.

Frankly, I was prepared for potential pushback, as this could have easily been attributed to installation. However, Kelite replaced the hatch without any resistance whatsoever, which was a very pleasant surprise.

The replacement hatch was delivered within three days – truly outstanding service!

This positive experience reinforces my initial impression of Kelite. The original purchase process was smooth, with clear online ordering and excellent communication regarding delivery and service.

It's also worth highlighting that Kelite is a UK-based company, not owned by an overseas entity. In a market often dominated by international corporations, it's refreshing to support a local business. And importantly, their prices remain highly competitive.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with Kelite Roof Windows and would highly recommend them for their product quality, excellent customer service, and commitment to being a UK company.

I had a Keylite loft ladder fitted 5 years ago primarily to expand the ceiling opening to improve access to the loft. When looking for a replacement to my original ladder it was important that the steps were to be treads rather than ladder rungs, all in one construction and that it was easy to fit. This ladder ticked all the boxes.

Fast forward to last week when I had some difficulty locking the hatch in the closed position. I discovered that the lock faceplate had come apart misaligning the locking mechanism. I contacted Keylite to ask if there were replacement parts available and they immediately sent out the correct part free of charge. Great customer care and I can recommend their loft ladders as after 5 years mine is as good as new.

Very pleased easy to fit. Full blackout for daylight conditions. Highly recommended.

Delivery efficient and product good. Disappointing that no advice on reputable fitters of the goods are available, either online or over the telephone.

Website states a 10 year guarantee however when part of my window broke (the bar you hook the pole on to open it) after 3 years of a new build house they refused to honour the guarantee claiming I operated the pole incorrectly because the hook was the wrong way around. Very unhelpful throughout a lot of back and forth speaking to customer support and eventually charged me £68 for the part which broke due to poor quality.

I was guided as to which blind to buy, and it fit perfectly, and was easy to install.

Easy to order, quick delivery and a perfect fit. Can't ask for more really.

Fantastic aftersales customer service from Keylite, above and beyond, and so kind and patient. My last communication was with Amanda who took the time to find out how she could help me, which allowed me to explain sufficiently well in order to find out a resolution. This was dealt with quickly and patiently putting me at ease knowing I was being treat with respect, and that the issue could be resolved. The issue is now resolved, thanks Rothley.

The fitter (Luke) that visited site was great and the support from customer services was prompt and excelent.

Arrived promptly after we ordered them and they were in good, protective packaging. Product is exactly as advertised and they were easy to fit. Because they are made by the same company as the roof lights they are compatible and they fit well. Only slight niggle is that the finger pulls to open and close are tricky with long nails but this gets easier once you learn the knack. The blackout feature is good. Overall we are impressed with them so far.
