2018 Kia Soul engine died at 104000…

2018 Kia Soul engine died at 104000 miles, proof of regular oil changes. Denied new engine due to not having the KSDS update. I am the 3rd buyer and was never notified of the update needed. This is Kia’s loop hole to not stand behind their faulty engines that they knew were faulty and kept putting them in cars anyway. The KSDS update does not show up on the recall lists either. I learned of this law suit from a mechanic after my engine died. Now I’m stuck with an expensive yard ornament that I’m still paying for. Never Never buy a Kia or Hyundai.

Kia Corporation Fails to Honor Buyback…

Kia Corporation Fails to Honor Buyback Agreement – Six-Month Ordeal

My experience with Kia Corporation has been nothing short of a disaster. After my 2020 Kia Telluride suffered from persistent engine and transmission problems that couldn't be fixed, Kia offered a buyback as a resolution. I signed the buyback agreement, expecting a prompt resolution. However, it has now been six months, and Kia has failed to honor their commitment.

From the moment the buyback agreement was signed, I was assured that the process would be quick and straightforward. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. I have been met with endless delays and a lack of communication from Kia. Each time I reach out for an update, I'm given vague assurances but no concrete action.

The six-month wait has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. I'm left with a defective vehicle that I was promised would be bought back, causing me significant stress and financial strain. The lack of urgency and accountability from Kia is astonishing and unacceptable.

Kia's customer service throughout this ordeal has been disappointing. Despite numerous follow-ups and attempts to escalate the issue, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution or even a clear timeline for when the buyback will be completed. The lack of transparency and responsiveness from Kia has left me feeling neglected and betrayed.

This experience has completely eroded my trust in Kia. For a company that claims to value its customers, their actions have shown the opposite. The failure to honor the buyback agreement in a timely manner is a glaring example of poor customer service and management.

I strongly advise anyone considering a Kia vehicle to think twice. The company's inability to follow through on their commitments and the lack of support during this challenging time have been extremely disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and choose a brand that stands by their word and values their customers.

Telluride Seat Debacle

Take timely responsibility on a dangerous recall, and not put it on the customer by telling them to park the vehicle outside for 2 months. Unacceptable response to issue involving possible malfunction and fire hazzard with Telluride seat. They should fire everyone in customer service for the main company. No help what so ever and very rude. I will never buy another one and I'll be sure to tell everyone that i know not to.

Horrible customer service - No car for 7 weeks

Took my 2021 Telluride to local dealer due to apparent problem with transmission. Mechanics didn't know how to diagnose and had to keep sending data to technicians on the west coast. Took 2 weeks to figure out we need a new transmission, a week to get approval to replace it under warranty, and now we're being told it's scheduled for repairs more than 4 weeks after that. In total, it's looking like a 7-week process. They've provided no loaner, and they're offering less than $50/day for a rental car (where can I find a 7-seat rental car for that price??), which I have to pay for up front and HOPE for reimbursement on later (which would take over a month to be processed and paid). Kia "Customer Care" has been rude (repeatedly talked over me with no suggested resolution) or nonresponsive. All the poor service at the dealership and Kia corporate almost made me forget the initial problem - THIS VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION AFTER JUST 4 YEARS. Will never buy a Kia again.

Do not buy!! Do not buy!!

This is the worst experience I have experienced with buying a car. I fell in love with a kia after seeing it at the Toyota dealership where i purchased my current vehicle and i just had to have one i guess. So i went into ken garff kia in avondale arizona and check out a kia sportage .. the sales guy jay was cool very laid back .. after spending a good amount of time there they came back to me with a offer.. im like ok bet! i went into the finance department and sign all the documents for my approved application and so on.
week after week i get a phone call from Jay Doden the finance manager saying they needed check stubs so they can give me a better deal and im like ok.. another phone call the following week asking me question about my partners income because they were just trying get me a better deal.. they even have the bank call me and he’s asking my question about my partners income .. here we are almost a month in and they are still calling me. So i got so frustrated i asked them to keep the deal i have instead of trying to get me a new deal .. then all of a sudden Jay Doden tells me that I was never approved for any loan! What! All the paper work i signed said I was .. and why didn’t they tell me this day 2 345678 they are some liars and scammers! what pissed me
off more then anything is i sent Jay Doden a email at 2pm and said this is fishy and i will just bring the car back and take my car back .. and this thief identifier ran my credit at 6pm with out my permission!! anybody would be crazy to purchase a vehicle from here just based off lies after lies after lies.. after reading most of the reviews I am so thankful I took my lexus back and gave them their piece of S$&@!

Disappointing Experience with 2015 Kia Soul - Excessive Oil Consumption

I am writing this review to express my frustration and disappointment with my 2015 Kia Soul !. Despite regular maintenance and proper care, my vehicle has been consuming excessive amounts of oil, which has resulted in frequent top-offs and unnecessary expenses. I have tried to address this issue with Kia Motors Customer Service, but their response has been unsatisfactory. They have failed to provide a solution or take responsibility for the problem, leaving me feeling ignored and disrespected as a customer. I urge potential buyers to consider this issue before purchasing a Kia Soul. It's important to prioritize reliability and durability in a vehicle, and my experience has shown that this model falls short. Kia Motors Customer Service, I hope you take note of this review and take steps to address the excessive oil consumption issue in your vehicles. Your customers deserve better. #KiaSoul #ExcessiveOilConsumption #PoorCustomerService #DisappointedCustomer. Case Number 5393377

My son bought the extended warranty on his Kia. The engine needs replaced and his local dealership has sent all the paperwork in to get the ok to replace it. The corporate office keeps giving them and my son the runaround and even hung up on my son. Don’t buy a Kia, they don’t want to stand behind their warranty and their customer service is rude.

No Integrity

I love my KIA Niro, 2024. However, the Tasca dealership, in White Plains NY, which touts great service, is far from honest • The price was $5,000 higher than given by phone. • Felt bribed; they pretty much said "We'll throw in the touch-up paint if you write a good review" • Purchased car in the beginning of December. In January, I called and asked about my permanent license plates. Response "Oh, they just came in! On my desk, now." Really? I had been driving illegally, for weeks ! I also asked, at that time, for the paint, and oddly, "It just came in" ! They then said I could come pick it up. I suggested we meet somewhere in the middle (they in NY/ I in CT.) Didn't get back to me. I then went, in person, to USPostal Service and UPS. They both said OK to send such a small quantity. I called Tasca KIA back, told them the situation. Saying I would expect to get the paint by (over) a week later, or I'd write an HONEST review.
Here I am !

I am a Consumer Reports member

I am a Consumer Reports member - and I have received 3 possible Kia Soul recall notices from CR. When I called Kia about these recalls - I was disconnected 5 times while waiting for a Kia Representative to answer. I did go on to Kia online and entered my vin # - And no Kia recalls are listed but I did have additional questions.

I’ve had a horrible experience

I’ve had a horrible experience. Bought a CPO Kia sorento from Kia Battleground. My car wasn’t registered with Kia when I purchased it and doesn’t qualify for warranty. That year sorento was in a class action suit to cover blown engines. Many had stopped working due to a faulty part. For an unknown reason, according to a service representative, my random blown engine doesn’t qualify. At no time have I received a recall or possible issues with my car. I have never missed service for my car and made sure to take care of it. I was told my car would be fixed, but their service department was behind. Then after 3 weeks, two technicians were sent to school in GA to repair and replace the engines. My car would be first to be replace and fixed when they return. After renting a car for over a month, I was told my car didn’t qualify for the warranty I was told a month ago I did. I will never buy another Kia and strongly recommend that others do not either.

If I could give them negative stars I…

If I could give them negative stars I would. My warrantied 2016 Kia Sedona with only 50,000 miles suddenly without warning completely drained the oil and the engine seized…on a three hour drive. This was almost a year and a half ago and despite my providing more than the requested oil change documents Kia is ghosting me and blocking me from being able to comment on their social media pages. The engine is defective and currently there are 89 similar Sedona complaints filed with the NHTSA. Kia is knowingly selling defective engines and denying claims so they don’t have to report the engine failures to the NHTSA. DO NOT BUY A KIA!

Im totally unhappy with Kia in Fayetteville NC, Service Department, they are trying to tell me that I punched a hole under my hood and that’s why the engine light stays on who the hell would do that they know damn well that engine light been on like that for months . It still under warranty they don’t want to fix it. It’s a 2020 Kia Sportage. All I want is for them to honor the repairs. This is the 3rd time I have taken my car to them to fix the engine light. Now service is saying there is a hole under the hood which is causing the engine light to stay on really

I bought a new 2023 Kia Soul with 10…

I bought a new 2023 Kia Soul with 10 years, 100,000-mile warranty which Kia will not honor their warranty. Dealing with the dealership is not customer-friendly! The Kia customer service is not customer service friendly either. My Kia started to have its paint peel away from my back bumper 30 days after purchase. Now more paint is peeling and they will not service my car or hold to the warranty. I am afraid I bought a lemon and want consumers to be aware of this problem. I started legal action, It is the only way I can proceed.
